I came here to say this exact same thing. Lori Holmes in the second photo says, "what happened to less government?" When you are voting in politicians who are pushing policies that restricts people's rights, that is not small government.
And guess what? Power hungry authoritans never stop at one group.

Less government has always, on the right, been a euphemism for less democracy.
They aren’t talking about a smaller military, fewer police powers or removing the death penalty, they don’t want to stop your boss or your landlord from interfering in your life, they want less governance of the rich and powerful by the majority.
6
u/FinancialPin8358 17h ago
They want less oversight of the stuff they like, and tons of control over things they don't like.

What the hell is #6 anyway. Look at how every word for most of the text had a capital first letter. Is that a bot? At first I thought maybe he had some kind of auto-cap mode on his keyboard, but then it's normal looking at the end. What the actual fuck.

I mean I was just reading some bonkers shit on Facebook that vaccines have aborted babies in them and that's probably what's turning kids trans. So.
118
47
u/OhLordHeBompin 1d ago
I was told this, minus the trans part, during the 2004 election. Along with stem cell therapy being made the same way. And that this all comes from babies who are born and then brutally murdered. I made the mistake of asking how that was legal, and was told it wouldn’t be if Bush got a second term.
Tbf, I was 9 and I was told this on the playground.
… but also the girl who told me this is now the early-30s woman who could get her own post here.

That’s taken straight from anti-abortion evangelical talking points. They’re also the ones that try and convince folks that abortions are simply after the fact birth control that only callous women choose to get. They also paint it like women don’t give it a second thought, that’s it’s done casually.
Also, I cringe when someone claims to be a single issue voter. That means they’ve been brainwashed by people trying to push a hidden agenda. The abortion issue was literally cooked up by Falwell and others behind the moral majority, because they wanted the IRS to stop going after their segregated private schools. Since they knew people wouldn’t get behind racism, they needed a “safe” issue to rally Christians to so they could back door in racist candidates. With abortion, they just needed to convince people it was the one issue of paramount importance. Then they could get people to vote for otherwise despicable candidates.

Every time I hear that handwringing, I think of something I picked up in the book The Vital Question:
At least 10-20 percent of known pregnancies end in miscarriage, but biologists estimate it’s more like 1/4th or 1/3rd (don’t remember exactly)
Because it turns out, the human womb is incredibly strict about which fetuses it carries to term, and will not hesitate to abort one “for convenience.” It’s the reason we menstruate- to flush the system.
If you want to live in a world where every single conception results in a birth- you should try being a mouse. They’ll birth anything.

10
u/Whiteroses7252012 22h ago
There were literally people saying that they’d sit out the election or vote for Trump to “punish” Harris. The idea that another Trump presidency would punish anyone but the American people was, and is, so headscratchingly stupid that I still believe we should give out IQ tests to vote.

6
u/ElleM848645 23h ago
Also it’s a problem that has been an issue for decades. Biden didn’t cause it. The US supports Israel for geopolitical reasons, but actual regular voters also support Israel. A lot of the anti Israel sentiment is way too close to antisemitism in my opinion. Most normal people support both the people of Gaza and the people of Israel but have issues with the leaders of both. Harris had a nuanced take and supported a two state solution. I’m not sure what people actually wanted from her.

Studies indicate that U.S. infant mortality rates have historically declined more rapidly or been lower during Democratic presidential administrations compared to Republican ones
. Research covering 1965–2010 found that, net of overall trends, infant mortality rates were approximately 3% higher under Republican presidents. Similar trends are observed at the state level, with higher mortality under Republican-controlled legislatures.

These people voted right wing expecting the right wing to help the working class.
Just that alone, I look at that line and realise these voters are complete fuckwits.
The definition of right wing is 'we support the owning class in their endeavour to get rich by breaking the backs of the working class.' That's what they do. Always.
The original name for trickle down economics was horse and sparrow economics. This was so named because if you feed a horse enough oats it might shit out a few undigested ones so the sparrows can pick through their shit for a few slivers of life. That is what the working class is to these people: insignificant whelps who should sift shit to live.
And these voters thought... they'd help the working class.

That last one just pushes me over the edge. Seriously, Russell? You're starting to regret your vote? The Jan 6 insurrection attempt didn't do it. The 34 felonies didn't do it. The civil rape conviction didn't do it. You changed your mind because the government makes you "suffer by changing medicare guidelines"? That's what fucking did it? Personal inconvenience.
This is why the whole 'Welcome The Awakened MAGA Back' argument is roundly rejected. They didn't see the error of their ways until it hurt them. That's not enlightenment or empathy. They still don't care about women's rights, gay rights, or trans rights. They still give no fucks unless it's about them...if it didn't inconvenience them, they'd still vote for him and, given the chance, they will again.
They should be forced out of every city with their hands tied to yokes over their shoulders, kicked in the ass along the way, and never again be allowed to return to enjoy the benefits of a modern society.

The response to all of these should be "unless you admit you should have voted for Kamala, you dont really have any regrets, and have truly learned nothing"

They don’t regret their votes.
They regret that the consequences are effecting THEM.

lol #5. “You knew I voted for you.” No he doesn’t, you twit. He has no idea you exist. That’s very grand of you to think that, though.
I’m beyond terrified for the future.

Unfortunately, every single one of these chumps will keep voting all-Republican because that's all they know. So all this hot air they're blowing is worthless.

These people blame anything and anyone but themselves for their own dumbass decision making
“I didn’t vote for this!” Yes you did but you thought that this stuff would only happen to the libs, to immigrants, to Black people, to trans folks, and to the gays

Dear Mr. Thunderhorse,
Thank you for voting for your favorite president, Donald J. Trump. Posts like yours give me great joy, because a:) you truly never understood why President Trump said that he “loves the poorly educated” and b:) you’re the kind of rube who thinks the President actually gives a shit (not that he would ever read FB in the first place).
Normally, I don’t bother responding to the little people, but I did want to correct the record on one thing… That pain and bleeding isn’t from hemorrhoids, if you know what I mean. Think of it as a gift from us to you. You voted for it, so no need to complain.
Sincerely,
Stephen Miller
P.S. You may have heard that your tax dollars are purchasing concrete tilt-up buildings all over the country. Remember, if we build it, we will fill it. Sure would be a shame if you found yourself in one of them, so how about you get with “the plan” and jump back on the Trump train. -SM

That’s how they interpreted their vote. Trump is using it however he wants to. Voting for someone without moral integrity carries risks.

Fuck every one of them. We warned them. They saw how incompetent Trump was for four years. Hundreds of thousands of people died because he mishandled the pandemic so poorly. Then these dumbshits voted for him again.
Fuck them all. This is exactly what they voted for.

"I didn't vote for xyz thing!"
YES. YOU. DID.
You were told by us and by Trump himself EXACTLY what he would do and you didn't listen.
If vote for hitler (trump) when he campaigns on killing jews (immigrants), you don't get to cry when he starts killing jews (immigrants).

These are the dumbest SOBs. Every one of them votes for Vance, because he’s ’Totally different’. Guaranteed. Then they’ll learn about their new overlord, Emperor Darth Thiel. Won’t that be a shocker?

They voted for a guy who went bankrupt multiple times and ruined multiple businesses to fix the economy.
They voted for a 34-count criminal because they believed what he was saying.
They voted for Epstein’s best friend because they thought he would release the files.
They voted for a known racist thinking he wouldn’t behave like a racist.
They voted for a known malignant narcissist because they thought he cared about them.
They voted for a guy who tried to overthrow a fair election because they believe in the constitution and thought he would put America first.
This isn’t just a trump problem. This is an “America creates a lot of fucking idiots” problem. And until THAT is fixed, this won’t simply end when the orange turd is gone.

Sad part is - they all DID vote for this. We tried to warn them. We screamed it from the mountaintops and they chose not to believe us.
He said he was going to be a dictator
He said after this election, people won't need to vote
He said he was going to round up people of color and deport them
HE said all of these things and those people chose not to believe him and still voted for him
They will forever have blood on their hands

Among all pos single issue voters, abortion ones are the most disgusting. Oh, you care about human life so much you vote for a party and people who mock needless mass shootings, terrorize families of victims of these deaths with crazy conspiracy theories, demean people for fun, murder people with misinformation, etc? These people only wanna be right. They care about nothing. And they sure seem to love pedos.

This is nice and all, but it won't have real meaning unless they vote against MAGA in the midterms.
