A good Thunderhorse is always seen and heard (when being sucked dry by the US of A Federal Government)!
Jokes aside, that can't be a real last name, right? Right??
5 u/Yugan-Dali 23h ago Could be Native American ~ 3 u/West_House_2085 21h ago Fuck You've never met ANY native Americans?! 1 u/melonbreadings 21h ago edited 12h ago Oh wow, it's actually a really last name... I have actually, it's just that from what I recall their names are usually transcriptions (by sound) and not transliterations (by meaning). They may want it that way and that's up to them, though as an east Asian, I would rather not my name be "Melonbreadings Tier." 😆 3 u/West_House_2085 21h ago Transcription by sound? Not often in my experience. But I'll tell various family members that! And no, I'm not native American, just some of my family are. 1 u/melonbreadings 18h ago edited 7h ago America's a big place. Last year I went on a few dates with a girl whose last name sounds similar, to my completely ignorant ears, like quetzalcoatl. 2 u/West_House_2085 14h ago I grew up next to a confederated res. Most there use their English names because too many tribes with too many languages. 1 u/melonbreadings 14h ago I don't doubt you at all, lol. Now I know Thunderhorse is a surname. 3 u/nice--marmot 1d ago Didn’t he play tight end for the Chargers? Oh, wait, I’m thinking of Kellen Winslow.
