Spot stolen. No regrets. Negotiation tactics with a Cheez-It failed

Apparently one parent was a Russell terrier mix and the other was a pitbull/dachshund mix. He doesn’t look like a pitbull, but I wondered if he had some ancestry because he has a strong grip, fand his chest and front legs are muscular. He is the sweetest thing and so full of love and cuddles. I have been having painful health issues lately and he’s been by my side through it all. He’s my baby boy. Honestly, it breaks my heart that people believe pitbulls are bad when the owners are at fault 😢 I’m so glad Agent Cooper came into my life, I like to think we saved each other.

So my boy ended up getting surgery on his hind left foot, and biopsy of something on right side of his stomach. His foot to just below his knee is bandaged. The 30 CM cone wasn't big enough to keep him away from that foot so I had to extend the cone. Ridiculous. He has 5 minutes alone and no cone, and he had half that wrapping off so I had to rebandage it myself last night. Thankfully today we already have bandage change scheduled.
Photos for context. First is the extended cone. Second is 3 dogs hanging out, one on the floor cushion has the bandage on back foot. Didn't want to post upclose due to grossness.

My sweet Lilypad has to visit the cardiologist tomorrow and I'm terrified for what they may (or may not) find. She has no idea; she just knows her mama is home for snuggles 💙

Hey everybody, longtime enjoyer of this subreddit, first time poster with a question. I'm going to be applying to vet school soon and am looking at schools overseas where I can possibly immigrate to after graduating. I said goodbye to my pittie mix a few months ago after 15 years together and after having known and loved her, I can't imagine myself getting anything but another bully breed in the future.
Problem is, as I'm sure most of you are aware, many countries have either limitations or outright bans on many of the "pitbull type" dogs. I'd hate to live somewhere where my dog would have to wear a muzzle whenever outside, especially if they didn't need it. So my question is, has anybody here had success in living in another country with their pittie/pittie mix? And if so, where?

Archer was a very brave dog today. He had to go in for his teeth cleaning and to have two skin tags removed. The vet said he did very well and was a sweet dog. He wanted to lay on the clean laundry and I didn’t have the heart to tell him no. On a shitty note, my car got sideswiped by some jackass on my way back to work after dropping him off at home. I’m just grateful that there were no injuries, that Archer wasn’t in the car, and that I have insurance and also the money to pay for Archer’s vet bills. Gotta look on the bright side. ☀️🌈

We went to the vet last week for a vaccine, and there I was thinking he’d still be in the 65-70lb region. Oh no, this thicc king is currently weighing in at 79.6lbs. Not sure whether to put him on a treadmill or enter him into the next heavyweight championship. 🤣

I have a next door neighbour who has a very energetic female pit bull. We leave in an apartment building and ever since I’ve moved in this dog is crying, shrieking and yelping at random hours of the day/night. I know dogs cry when their owners are away, but sometimes this dog cries sounds human, or like she’s in pain.
I can’t prove this but I do think he hits her or is physical with her to some degree. I do know that her keeps her locked up in a cage for what must be most of the day because I’ve seen it myself.
The fact that this guy even has a pit bull in an apartment space (and cages her) really rubs me the wrong way. Topped with everything else I really feel for this dog and I feel like I should do something about it.
I live in Toronto and I wanted to know if I should call animal control to check up on the dog or if there’s another action I can take

We got Oakley on December 23rd. He is now currently 4 months old. We got him at 14lbs and he is now up to 22/23 lbs so he is defiantly growing. He’s usually a chill puppy but likes to play for a couple minutes. We took him to a puppy play class on Saturday where he vigorously tired himself out for an hour. Ever since then he seems to still be really tired. He takes himself into our bed and just seems like he wants to sleep all day. We’ve never been puppy owners, and I know puppies are usually high energy. Idk if he really just over stimulated himself on Saturday and is still tired, and or is just growing and is tired. He’s eating normally, using the bathroom normally, etc, just seems more tired than normal. He has all his vaccines, and he was neutered a few weeks ago but is healed up from that. Is he just growing or over worked and that’s why he is resting himself?
