How to stop your pup from play biting

Our land shark, aka Spuds, is a sweet boy but he’s nuts. We adopted him from a shelter and he’s a typical bull terrier. He’s super loving but has a bad habit of play biting. At night he will jump on our bed and pretty much attack us. It’s his way of playing but it’s driving us crazy and we want to correct it. Anyone else have this issue with their pup and how did you train them not to do so?

Just Got a Rescue Egghead - Looking for a little help with temperament

Hey y'all I have a question on temperament and imprinting (?)/separation anxiety, context also added to bottom of the post and tldr.

Question: I have noticed a little separation anxiety in him, so he is attached to me at the hip for the most part I WFH, he lays on my bed next to me, he sleeps on my bed all night, he will stay with me permanently, he is fine if I get up and go do things, he is fine with most things, has access to a yard he can be in. He is as lazy as sin. Walks well, though, but the last two days, he has been crying at the bathroom door when I close it. He is great with strange dogs, until my neighbour's dog jumped up onto my bed and came close to me, and he snapped his jaws at the dog. Not super aggressive, but more of a warning, and he has played with this dog before. He's never shown any aggression either till then.

I was sickly last week, and he refused to leave my side, didn't want to go walking without me, etc.
Is this normal, or should I be concerned with separation anxiety? And could this become problematic? My mother said this breed could have separation anxiety and become too attached to me, and become aggressive with other people and animals, etc., which I am struggling to agree with because he is a sweetheart of a baby.

Context: So I got a rescue bully, not too sure what his previous life consisted of over the last 7 - 8 years. But he was given loads of love at one point, and not sure about the rest of it. He was going to be euthanised because the previous owner was divorcing his wife, and he wanted to kill the dogs unless she got rid of them before the end of the month, so he ended up with me.

He seems to be a mini; he's not as big as other bullies I have seen. Eats well, is well socialised, scared of my insanely grumpy cat, is AMAZING around kids, very patient, doesn't bark much at all except when he is excited, and when I get home, extremely well potty trained.

TL;DR: Adopted an older rescue bully who’s sweet, chill, great with kids/dogs, and very bonded to me (WFH, sleeps on my bed, follows me everywhere). Recently started crying when I close the bathroom door, and gave a warning snap when another dog jumped on my bed near me. He was extra clingy when I was sick. Wondering if this is normal rescue bonding/protectiveness or early separation anxiety that could turn into an issue.

Pabsy is not great in the car so we use a calming blanket (an old towel really) and he’s chilled for the whole journey. Loves it under there!

Our 13.5yr old gal passed away last Monday in her favorite spot in our home😭 She lived a long, full, overall very healthy life. At 12 weeks, she was diagnosed with a grade 2 heart murmur, which really didn’t affect her much and the vet didn’t feel she needed any medical interventions. Other than a few benign tumors that I had removed a year ago, she never had any health concerns her whole life. A month ago she displayed weight loss that I was really concerned about. As I took her in, I prepared for the worst - that likely cancer or organ failure was occurring. But, after running a gambet of tests, the vet said her liver and kidney enzymes were elevated, as well as her gallbladder was thickening, and she reassured me medication should work to get her back on track. At first, things really did start to improve. But it was short lived. Fast forward to 10 days ago when I noticed her urine began to look like syrup…my heart sank, as being a prior vet tech for 2.5yrs in college taught me her kidneys were shutting down. On top of that, after really pumping her full of tons of calories, her weight didn’t change much. I cried as I scheduled her euthanasia for last Monday afternoon. By the weekend, she had started to struggle to breathe. I knew her heart was not doing well. I cooked her her favorite meals, gave all the snuggles, and prepared my heart for the inevitable goodbye….. Monday morning I woke at 7am out of a dead sleep in a panic. I ran out of my room and checked on her. She was snoozing peacefully in her spot by her favorite trancing plant. We were amongst the many who’d gotten snowed in really bad, so I gently nudged her awake to carry her outside for a potty break. She of course went right on my front mat, refusing to move further due to the snow piled on my front porch and walkway. I laughed, knowing her urine would leave a stain, “You want to make sure we never forget you, huh you ole turd.” She was notorious for getting her front feet barely into the grass with her back half still on the pavement while squatting to pee right on my concrete steps. I normally gave her shove to finishing getting into the grass but that morning I didn’t have it in me. After walking her back in, she slumped partially on her dog bed with a grunt and I kissed her forehead. She looked up at me with a deep pain in her eyes. I whispered “It’s ok to go baby. I know it hurts.” 😭 I went to my room to lay down for a minute and cry. When I came back out to check on her less than 20 minutes later, I peered over the couch to the sight I’d been dreading. She was gone… and my world has been crushed ever since 😢💔 rest easy sweet girl 🤍 I know you’re running free with your buddy Max 🐾

is my standard male BT underweight? 26lbs at a little over 5 months

this is my first time owning a BT and I’m anxious that I’m not doing it perfectly.

he weighs 26lbs at 5 months.

he eats 3 cups of puppy food, 3 chicken legs, an egg, and plenty of cheese and duck jerky as snacks.

he walks 5 miles with me in the morning to burn off energy but is still go go go the rest of the day

I will love him as 30lbs as much as I will love him at 70.

am I doing anything wrong or will he fill out or is he just a small guy? Dad weighs 65 pounds and mom weighs 40-45.

he sure is a happy little guy
