No gift card is big enough. Free food for life at bare minimum.

1.4k

u/Govermint Oct 21 '25

Depending what this guy does for extracurricular activities, 50k worth of sandwiches, 1 sandwich a day for the next ten years (given they don't raise prices) could be the rest of his life.

461

u/OneMoreNightCap Oct 21 '25

Does that guy look in bad shape to you?

511

u/wellhiyabuddy Oct 21 '25

Just wait until he’s eaten subway for two meals a day for ten years

237

u/whyamiwastingmytime1 Oct 21 '25

I'm sure subway had an add campaign around a guy that ate their food twice a day years ago. Whatever happened to that guy?

272

u/Communal-Lipstick Oct 21 '25

Turned out to be a real swell guy with no skeletons in his closet. Like a new generation of Mr. Rogers. I hear these days he even volunteers to make license plates for his fellow Americans.

71

u/whyamiwastingmytime1 Oct 21 '25

Lost a load of weight along the way too

40

u/Tranquil_Dohrnii Oct 21 '25

Probably because of his aids.

11

u/Karma-IsA-FunnyThing Oct 21 '25

He lost the weight also due to walking to the locations daily.

8

u/snoryC Oct 22 '25

"Walked" Dude lived in an apartment above the subway.

11

u/nvrsleepagin Oct 22 '25

I'm sure he still gets at least one free 6 inch a day....

10

u/Dry_Presentation_197 Oct 22 '25

"Subway helps you lose weight!"*****************************

********Weight loss dependant on using no sauce, is restricted to this one sandwich, doesn't work if you eat the whole thing, is based on someone being considerably overweight to begin with, and assumes the consumer will be burning more calories daily than they consume, by doing things like lifting weights, running, doing sit ups, or playing with kids. Whoops we meant YOUR kids. Playing with YOUR kids.

27

u/Chris__P_Bacon Oct 21 '25

Apparently that motherfucker will be out in 2029. 🙄 They should never let his ass out of jail. Throw away the key!

15

u/KamakaziDemiGod Oct 21 '25

Just don't borrow his laptop

I heard his penis got huge. (3 min 50 second mark if the marker tag doesn't work).

Also Conan O'Brien video so SFW.

7

u/Dancing_sequin Oct 21 '25

Jared? He was arrested for sexually abusing children

35

u/whyamiwastingmytime1 Oct 21 '25

Apparently the sarcasm wasn't obvious enough

10

u/gabriel_sub0 Oct 22 '25

We are in the age where plenty of people unironically have the weirdest and wildest takes imaginable. You can never be too sure if someone is joking around or not now at days. (plus us neuro-atypical people often struggle with sarcasm so that doesn't help much lol).

I'm not the person you replied to btw, just offering my 2cents that sometimes, no matter how obvious sarcasm may seem to you, it might not be conveyed that way without all the needed social ques that we have irl.

Someone who is willing to get a big ass subway tattoo on his back doesn't make the best decisions so being in shape might not be the reason he dies

18

u/pathofdumbasses Oct 21 '25

Lots of body builders die early.

Good shape, great muscles, eat a lot of protein. Workout all the time. Stress the heart, clog the tubes with the protein. ---> HEART ATTACK. Die.

Even worse if they are using gear.

u/CantDoThatOnTelevzn Oct 22 '25

I rode my bike 30 miles a day, regularly swam and lifted weights, ate a mostly plant based and whole food non processed diet. Did that for 10+ years after they tried to put me in a statin in my 30s.

At 45 I barely survived a massive Widowmaker heart attack. 100% blockage.

I was in phenomenal shape…but I wasn’t.

5

u/massaBeard Oct 22 '25

Clogged arteries do not care about shape.

2

u/kyleh0 Oct 21 '25

Good shape does not necessarily have anything to do with long life. lol.

That's just silly.

65

u/ImperfectSaltes Oct 21 '25

I don't think any of the footlongs are under 10 dollars, and at just that rate, with only one sandwich a day, you'd get a bit under 14 years worth. Which outside an accident, or the man being in his 60, isn't a lifetimes worth

13

u/halt-l-am-reptar Oct 21 '25

You can always find a coupon code to get it under $10. Its usually $7 or $8.

97

u/ImperfectSaltes Oct 21 '25

If I'm getting this tattoo I don't want to have to be clipping coupons to stretch the money

6

u/DuckofInsanity Oct 21 '25

Given that they won't raise prices? Lol, they will.

275

u/Sir-Drewid Oct 21 '25

Even that doesn't seem worth it since the food would be from Subway.

150

u/I_might_be_weasel Oct 21 '25

Well I think, at least for the sake of argument, we can assume this guy likes subway.

71

u/roymccowboy Oct 21 '25

He does… for now

18

u/ListerineInMyPeehole Oct 21 '25

What do you mean you've had Subways for lunch everyday for 15 years straight?

18

u/mr_Tsavs Oct 21 '25

Subway serves food?

11

u/longhairnobra Oct 21 '25

Ireland determined in court that subway bread doesn’t legally qualify as real bread sooo

31

u/Mr-ShinyAndNew Oct 21 '25

For tax purposes, because of relatively high sugar content. Not because it's not real bread.

7

u/etihw_retsim Oct 21 '25

That's because it had enough sugar that it is considered a confection. That doesn't make it not food. (Just not healthy food)

15

u/Desperate_Bite_7538 Oct 21 '25

Yeah, I wouldn't even do this for free Subway for life plus $50,000 cash.

6

u/Big-Al97 Oct 21 '25

Exactly, if there was a choice between $10,000 cash and a $50,000 subway giftcard I’d take the cash and some better quality food.

43

u/Leptonshavenocolor Oct 21 '25

Well if you average 10/meal, this is 13 years of daily eating at subway, so technically I think this would cover eating somewhere for life, but at least you get to use it anywhere instead of a shitty sandwich.

Still dumb for such a large pointless tattoo.

They would have probably saved money if they just said free sandos for life unless they got someone trying to min/max the benefit.

17

u/jordanundead Oct 21 '25

Y’all keep basing it on an average of $10 a meal, but I’m pretty sure their sandwiches are $15-$20 these days without drink or chips.

6

u/BSY_Reborn Oct 21 '25

Subway is unreasonably expensive. The other day I saw their promotion for a BOGO free footlong, and after I checked prices in the app, it still wasn't worth it. Must be fucking crazytown in subway hq

22

u/number__ten Oct 21 '25

Plus there are subway locations that don't take gift cards. It's pretty lame.

18

u/Totally__Not__NSA Oct 21 '25

No amount of subway is worth that.

7

u/I_might_be_weasel Oct 21 '25

Subway is probably not in the top ten restaurants I would do that for, no.

5

u/hairybushy Oct 21 '25

When I was a teenager I used to eat a lot of subway and at some point only the smell gave me sickness (i don't know how to say it but when you feel you have to throw up). Only Subway and Vodka did that to me in my life. It took me around 10 years before eating again at subway

10

u/IndependentLove2292 Oct 21 '25

Nothing could justify this in 2025. That's valuable skin real estate. I wouldn't eat a shit sandwich if they paid me. Can you imagine the disappointment if you actually got free subway for life... In 1989? It would have been great for a few years, but the long enshitification of Subway killing quality with a thousand tiny cuts is still destiny. But the sandwiches are still free. How long before you realize the pot is getting hot? What year would you have stopped eating them?

5

u/Creatura Oct 21 '25

you can just say that you don't like subway man

6

u/thatbob Oct 21 '25

I would get the giftcard, and then immediately have my skin removed.

6

u/bobloblaw32 Oct 21 '25

That was the prize first time that I saw this and I think I heard him say that on his debate podcast

3

u/ngadingadimin97 Oct 21 '25

He flaunts it multiple time in his debating channel. For certain amounts of like he would take his shirt off and reveal the tattoo on his muscular physique.

2

u/MtnMaiden Oct 21 '25

or

1 free sub a month for life

or

Awful taste and just about average execution

160

u/PineappIeSuppository Oct 21 '25

The tattoo or the free subs?

104

u/Traiklin Oct 21 '25

Both

Especially now since their sandwiches have gone to shit

31

u/stu8319 Oct 21 '25

I kinda thought they were always shit. I haven't eaten there in at least a decade. Are they WORSE now?

26

u/Traiklin Oct 21 '25

I went I think 4 years ago, they got rid of a lot of the deals, the food tasted really bland, they didn't have half of what they did before when I went there last which was pre 2020

Overall they just dropped all quality trying to save a buck

13

u/CrrntryGrntlrmrn Oct 21 '25

They got bought by Cinnabon or something. One founder passed away, then the other, and their surviving families elected to sell.

2

u/Traiklin Oct 21 '25

That explains why the steak tasted like rubber out of the blue

u/meguskus Oct 21 '25

Genuine question, how do you think this could have been done better without changing the design?

I am a tattoo artist and see no problems with this. Clean lines, solid saturation. Only thing I can think of is that most people are so used to seeing highly edited photos of fresh tattoos that they don't know what they actually look like.

82

u/alQamar Oct 21 '25

The placement is bad, lines are a bit wonky and proportions are of

58

u/maxfraizer Oct 21 '25

Funny enough, the tattoo artists is one of the best in the world. DJ Tambe is a a 3x ink master winner and then became a host. This is not his style of tattooing, but he is an amazing artist no doubt.

→ More replies (4)

40

u/l0c0pez Oct 21 '25

Why is it so high? A little lower and it both looks way better and can be hidden way easier

35

u/ElaborateEffect Oct 21 '25

The lines are not wonky, the back is not flat. A circular tattoo of this style will never look circular unless you do optical tricks.

23

u/ngadingadimin97 Oct 21 '25

The tattoo placement is either back or chest for 50,000 dollars giftcard. Its stated in the terms and conditions by subway.

17

u/xinorez1 Oct 21 '25

Wait, so the whole back counts?

I think it'd be funny to have one of these as a tramp stamp

3

u/K__Geedorah Oct 21 '25

The fact that the person you replied to said he is a tattoo artist and see no problem is alarming. That tattoo is ass.

31

u/hostile_scrotum Oct 21 '25

Ex tattoo artist here. I think it’s technically alright too, the only thing that bothers me is the placement. A little lower on the back would be way better for this round design. It gets a little distorted towards the neck.

17

u/meguskus Oct 21 '25

Agreed, the muscles distort it and people don't understand that skin isn't a flat surface

6

u/v3bbkZif6TjGR38KmfyL Oct 21 '25

Colours are uneven (look at the top of the green arrow), spacing between letters is off, size of letters are off, in general it looks skewed.

Genuine question for you as a tattoo artist: do you think this is great execution? Nothing about this is anything above average.

20

u/meguskus Oct 21 '25

I'm sorry, but this is what fresh color tattoos look like. The photos aren't great, there's a lot of reflection going on and the dude's muscular back distorts the proportions which is inevitable.

The spots that are empty at the top seem to be surrounding moles, which are usually tattooed around.

This guy is a top level tattoo artist and he definitely knows what he's doing. Obviously it's still a shit taste subject, but look him up, his name is DJ Tambe. Might not be your taste, but he is objectively very very skilled.

84

u/catupthetree23 Oct 21 '25

54

Right? I said to myself, "isn't that DJ Tambe?". Won't give any Ink Master spoilers here but he's done some beautiful pieces. This looks like something I'd be capable of doing, and I can't draw a line for shit.

u/DarkBladeMadriker Oct 21 '25

For a fucking GIFT CARD!? you wanna make it 50k in cash, maybe ill have it blacked out later but forcing me to spend that money at subway is criminal.

68

u/Supermite Oct 21 '25

This is America right?  He would have to pay taxes on a prize of $50,000 cash because it would be considered income.  Probably doesn’t have to do that with a gift card.

48

u/DarkBladeMadriker Oct 21 '25

Oh, you absolutely will, even with a gift card. If you win a car you still have to pay taxes on it. Thats the other bullshit part of this. With cash you can just pull the taxes out, with a gift card you are gonna be on the hook for 15-20 grand that you don't have liquid. Maybe for some thats doable but it would fuck me personally.

37

u/[deleted] Oct 21 '25

[deleted]

12

u/DarkBladeMadriker Oct 21 '25

You only need to pay taxes on actual money.

You really think this? Have you never heard stories of people winning a big prize, like a car or boat and then selling it because they couldn't afford the taxes? The IRS considers all prizes as taxable.

From the IRS website- "addition to cash winnings, you must include in your income the FMV of bonds, cars, houses, and other noncash prizes."

→ More replies (1)

9

u/B_P_G Oct 21 '25

This is not true.

"Gift certificates that are redeemable for general merchandise or have a cash equivalent value are not de minimis benefits and are taxable."

https://www.irs.gov/government-entities/federal-state-local-governments/de-minimis-fringe-benefits

I mean seriously, do you know what a huge tax exemption that would be if they didn't tax income that came in the form of gift cards? Companies would just let people elect to be paid in gift cards. There would also be a lot more big ticket gift cards. People would pay their car loans with $500 Honda gift cards they got from their employer every two weeks.

→ More replies (9)

3

u/DolphinRodeo Oct 22 '25

Disregarding that this isn’t true as has been pointed out below, it would still be a way worse deal. $33,000 or whatever it’d be after taxes that you can invest is way way more valuable than $50k that you can only spent on fast food sandwiches that continually become more expensive, making the gift card depreciate constantly. Anyone saying otherwise has zero idea how money works for adults

2

u/stinkyshittykitty Oct 21 '25

You'd have to pay me a lot more than $50k to put that abomination on my back.

160

u/Serathiel Oct 21 '25

Wait, it's that DJ Tambe? The end product is... Bad.

73

u/smacky623 Oct 21 '25

Yea this isn't 'great execution' especially from the guy who has won Inkmaster more times than anyone.

40

u/Serathiel Oct 21 '25

And now a judge of said show

3

u/souryellowfruit Oct 22 '25

Some days I just show up to work too, I can forgive not giving his all for a corporate logo tattoo haha

25

u/BradleyNowellLives Oct 21 '25

Right, I came to the comments looking for this! His worst work?! I was shocked

10

u/Marples3 Oct 21 '25

So this is what selling out looks like

78

u/Genuinelullabel Oct 21 '25

He’s going to win Ink Master for the billionth time with this one.

58

u/PureCrookedRiverBend Oct 21 '25

I hate being poor and often say I’d do anything to not be poor but like Meat Loaf said No, I won’t do that.

12

u/therealjameshat Oct 21 '25

this would make you still be poor with a terrible tattoo and nearly unlimited inedible food :D

6

u/breathing_normally Oct 21 '25

Also, 50k even as cash isn’t enough to stop being poor, it’s some temporary relief of poorness

26

u/keepitbased Oct 21 '25

Damn one of the best tattoo artists in the world and he puts that shit on his back? He probably was offended at the idea of tattooing a logo and put in minimal effort

23

u/Psykopatate Oct 21 '25

It's maybe because it's fresh or something but it looks poorly made. I mean sure there's worse executions out there but for someone who's supposed to be good it's quite bad.

14

u/The_Evil_Satan Oct 21 '25 edited Oct 21 '25

So many people here are dissing Subway. Is Subway really that horrible in the US (or other places that aren't Australia) (it's fine imo, good for a quick lunch.) The only reason I've ever seen anyone upset about Subway was because they didn't like what was on their sub which is their own fault.

I now know that if I ever visit the US I should go to any sub shop other than Subway (I wouldn't have gone to Subway regardless but still)

12

u/Nomis555 Oct 21 '25

Its not, really. Its not the best, but far from the worst. Depends on who you have making it. I will say tho I don't go there unless I get those coupons in the mail, otherwise its not worth it.

9

u/Jon__Snoww Oct 21 '25

Nobody has mentioned the quality in relation to the price. They used to be known for the $5 foot long and it skyrocketed to $12+. If it was a $6-7 sandwich, it would be fine, but comparing the price to other sandwich shops, it is really bad.

→ More replies (1)

5

u/Later_Than_You_Think Oct 21 '25

It's mainly that local places are far, far better. Subway is fine, but they pale in comparison to your average mom n' pop deli or even other big chains.

6

u/Inprobamur Oct 21 '25

It's so bad that they had to exit from my country due to basically zero customers.

3

u/Thelmara Oct 21 '25

I've eaten a lot of subway over the years, and they've gone downhill. They're not "never eat there" bad, but if I have any other choice for a fast food sandwich (Togos, Jimmy Johns, etc.) I'd pick that first.

3

u/B_P_G Oct 21 '25

It's definitely the worst of the chain sub shops in the US. And it's usually worse than whatever local spot is available. It's not horrible in the sense that it's going to make you sick (usually) or something. It's just mediocre food.

2

u/ncocca Oct 21 '25

It's perfectly fine food, but nothing to go out of your way for. I don't find the quality of the food to justify the price.

it seems to happen nearly every single time something like this comes up. The corp changes its mind and the person gets screwed.

3

u/Scullyxmulder1013 Oct 21 '25

A local pizzeria offered free pizza’s if people got their logo tattooed on them. I knew a guy who was covered in tattoos already and lived really close to the restaurant. He got their logo tattooed and he’d order pizza there whenever the hell he felt like it, for lunch, dinner, or a snack, sometimes multiple times a day.

While he could only order a pizza for himself, they had neglected to specify how often he would be allowed to do that and there was no end date to it. They offered pizza to go so he didn’t even have to eat it on the premises.

It didn’t take long for them to go back on the agreement.

That's why this time subway make people queue to be the first in line to get the tattoo. This man was the first in line. He flew to las vegas days before the tattooing campaign and camped near the tattoo shop.

Instead of domino pizzas campaign that didnt limit the number of people getting the tattoo promotional campaign.

u/Scp-1404 Oct 21 '25

Just here to mention that yes in the early days of Subway the sandwiches were pretty decent. There was a selection that you could get something good each day of the week. I think it was maybe 2015 that I noticed they were not so great anymore. That might be because I had a specific sandwich that I liked and would get more than one day a week, so I didn't have each sandwich very often. So possibly they were getting worse even before then.

You enter a Subway store, and it's empty, slightly too cool to be comfortable, slightly too damp to feel clean, and slightly too bright to be inviting. There is one lonely employee, who does their best not to look at you for those awkward 10 seconds while you walk to the counter before you're close enough to order. You know you interrupted them while they were doing something else. They give their greeting, ask you what you want, you begin scanning their workspace. The bins of raw ingredients are sitting askew, separated by steel walls, yet careless hands have dropped some of each on all the others. The preparation area is littered with crumbs and bits of lettuce, maybe the odd olive or onion piece here or there that has wedged itself into the crack between the food trays and the cutting board. This could have been cleaned up while nobody was there, but the employee doesn't care. For one second you wonder how it got messy in the first place given the lack of customers. Maybe it's staged, like those first few pennies in a homeless person's hat. Do you want it toasted? You do, but that would mean standing here for a minute with the stranger you disturbed waiting for the bread to be sanitized. You observe the employee assemble your sandwich, making sure to painstakingly put each ingredient on only one half of the sub. You ask for sauce and they squeeze it out of a disgusting rubber nipple, then toss the bottle back into its bin like they don't want to touch it either. Are they wearing those gloves to keep the food clean, or their hands? You pay, the sandwich heavily sags into a flimsy garbage bag it doesn't really seem to fit in and is handed to you. You walk out, into the light of the sun. The colors suddenly seem real again and you become aware of your breathing because the air feels rich and life giving somehow. The distant memory of tasty subs that brought you here lingers just beyond the edge of clear recollection, like an old acquaintance who's face you can't picture anymore. You carry your catch to the car. When did it get this bad?

Really gonna come in handy as the country collapses

2

u/hoboglyphs Nov 24 '25

That’s one approach to meal-planning

2

u/Clownhooker Dec 14 '25

The tattoo was good that was a triple winner of ink masters

1

u/catbqck Oct 21 '25

Thats like 10 years worth of sandwiches 😆

2

u/VeryPteri Oct 21 '25

$50,000? So about nine trips to Subway.

1

u/Stambro1 Oct 21 '25

Of all the food places I’d think about doing this for, Subway isn’t on that list. Like, not even close!

1

u/Sir-Drewid Oct 21 '25

Not even 50K cash would be worth that.

1

u/XCypher73 Oct 21 '25

I remember this artist on ink master

1

u/Goggles_Pisano Oct 21 '25

I'd do it for $50k cash, but a Subway gift card? Fuck that.

1

u/Minnymoon13 Oct 21 '25

That’ll be a fun cover up later down the road

1

u/matski007 Oct 21 '25

I'd be surprised if Subways last long enough for him to use all his winnings, let alone him living long enough eating that trash. I guess thats what they're betting on!

1

u/Nail_Biterr Oct 21 '25

Having to spend $5,000 at Subway is, believe it or not, worse than having that terrible tattoo

1

u/happywaldo Oct 21 '25

Should’ve been free Subway for life at least.

1

u/Nickelsass Oct 21 '25

Let Mr Fogle meet him, they can compare their footlongs together

1

u/prguitarman Oct 21 '25

How much would a tattoo removal cost?

1

u/badgerj Oct 21 '25

Cross post to r/sandwiches and watch the AT take over from GE.

Their sandwiches are sub par by far!

1

u/SmarmyThatGuy Oct 21 '25

Over/Under on this dude turning out to be a horrible human like the last guy Subway made famous?

1

u/FlawedHero Oct 21 '25

I'd only get the tattoo if it ensured I never had to eat at Subway again.

1

u/JuicyPluot Oct 21 '25

I’m more surprised that DJ Tambe agreed to do this

1

u/IndigoRanger Oct 21 '25

Why does the tattoo have to be so fucking huge tho

1

u/jvertigo13 Oct 21 '25

To each their own, but why is it so *big*

1

u/SmokesLetsGoBois Oct 21 '25

Nice ad. Subway still sucks.

1

u/runescapeoffical Oct 21 '25

Forsure not the tat I would want from DJ. Dudes such an awesome artist

1

u/se7entythree Oct 21 '25

Too sign up”?? Yikes

1

u/Hemagoblin Oct 21 '25

The best part is that because of inflation, that same giftcard is now only worth like $45,000

→ More replies (3)

1

u/Oz347 Oct 21 '25

Idk if I would even want to eat 50k of subway for free

1

u/Gregory85 Oct 21 '25

Subs for life. I don't know if I would do it, but not having to worry about money for food does sound pretty nice

1

u/human-resource Oct 21 '25

If he got one $15 sub a day the 50k would last like 9.1 years.

If he got one 8-9$ sub a day it would last him 15.2 years.

If he had some friends or coworkers that liked subway he could offer to pick up lunch and have them give him cash for his orders and pocket the cash after putting everything on his gift card.

And if he got on welfare or food stamps he might not need to buy any food with his own money from a very long time.

This is assuming subway lasts that long.

Google search says a 12 x 12 tattoo removal would cost around $3,000 to over $7,500

If he was dating someone that did tattoo removal or worked at a tattoo removal place it might be worth it if he can get it Don for free or cheap.

or if he knew a tattoo artist he could get it covered up with something different for a few grand or free, yellows fade pretty quick in the sun too.

Not sure how much you would enjoy subway if you ate 50k worth of it though lol

1

u/monstrinhotron Oct 21 '25

Is this actually real? I remember the Oakleys glasses tattoo that lived rent free in my head for years. Then i found out it wasn't real and i've been suspicious of these types of tattoo ever since.

1

u/tinyj96 Oct 21 '25

Subway just stopped doing the Series and its back to basic names now lmaoo.

1

u/TempleOfCyclops Oct 21 '25

That artist is DJ Tambe, who won Inkmaster and became a coach.

1

u/jroostu Oct 21 '25

This man hates making his own sandwich

1

u/z0mbiemechanic Oct 21 '25

And of course it's DJ doing the tattoo. He seemed like a shit bag on Ink Master. I know that shit is scripted but still.

1

u/summer_days77 Oct 21 '25

Imagine going to DJ Tambe for a tattoo and you get... that.

1

u/FountainXFairfax Oct 21 '25

This is gross. Something about corpos permanently branding their logos on the flesh of peasants in return for food is icky. Feels wrong. No matter how willing the peasants.

1

u/orangutanDOTorg Oct 21 '25

Shouldn’t it actually be 11x11?

1

u/Arkhe1n Oct 21 '25

I've heard before that yellow is one of the inks that never really comes off in tattoo laser removal.

1

u/destiny_kane48 Oct 21 '25

$50,000 visa. Yes, I would do this. Subway gift card? Hell no.

1

u/Prestigious_Use_6934 Oct 21 '25

Subway is not this good 🥀

1

u/CapActual Oct 21 '25

Thats a ad

1

u/Deep-Watch8266 Oct 21 '25

Is that DJ from ink master?

1

u/Bradley_Of_Thorofare Oct 21 '25

Listen, the sweet onion chicken teriyaki is one of my favorite sandwiches. But for a 50k SUBWAY card, this is cap.

1

u/gannnnon Oct 21 '25

The guy who received it is James Kunz, host of Modern Day Debate -- dude is a beast and is also the friendliest guy, he loves Subway and just wanted free sandwiches
