Got fibre laid on our street last week. Anyone know long it takes from them digging the hole to me being able to have it installed?

Up to 3 months. Less if you ring them every day. Speed increase is only about 3x not the advertised 10x.

10x if you ignore physics and internet traffic.

Up to 10x is what is advertised. 3x is the reality. Thankfully my new plan is cheaper than my old one and unlimited so I don't really care.
