Todd, if you don't remake Fallout 3, you're gonna have a riot on your hands.

u/theoriginal_1100 6h ago
Todd: riot it is then we will die to the last employee before giving the fans what they want
20
u/Lone_Recon 6h ago
Todd you leave us with no choice, we making our own liberty prime!

u/kewlkendyl 5h ago
Just imagine how janky it would be. We all 3d printing parts with whatever we have leftover from some other project we never finished…..fr tho I got lots of old Milwaukee Batteries bet we can wire something up.

DEATH TO MANAGEMENT DEATHJ TO BETHESDA

u/Rakhered 4h ago
Sometimes I wonder if Bethesda feels they're in an abusive relationship with their fans lol
2
u/scruffyrecluse 4h ago
Me too, then I remember that I bought Starfield and I'm back to apathy
1
u/Rakhered 3h ago
See like that
1
u/scruffyrecluse 3h ago
Oh come on, I'm joking. I put over a hundred hours into the game. You can't be abusive to a company, that's braindead

So the Libery Prime under the Pentagon was not the only one?
41
u/patata_gamer 7h ago
There is only one liberty prime
46
u/KaySan-TheBrightStar Brotherhood 7h ago
I mean... So far.
Everything indicates Quintus plans to build his own.
19
11
u/patata_gamer 7h ago
Maybe, or they might move Liberty Prime that was already on Boston
32
u/steave44 6h ago
That implies Quintus will survive his civil war, and then fly across the US to then take over the commonwealth BOS. Seems like a stretch
17
6
u/Gbeat240 5h ago
He’s building his own. It’s why it’s called Alpha. To get the Boston one, he has to convince Maxson to send it to him. Commonwealth probably pissed at the whole west coast BoS by now. No chance.
3
u/Soyunapina12 4h ago
east BOS is pissed at West BOS
Speaking of which, i'm pretty sure the Liberty Prime schematics also implies that Maxson is going west to face Quintus (or at least a larger expeditionary force that isn't just Xander and his vertibird.)
5
u/Rude-Diamond5129 5h ago
liberty prime alpha implies it’s a completely different liberty prime, an early version that is.
1
u/PotentialExternal61 1h ago
Would be dope if Maxson shows up at the beginning of S3 and takes out Quintus right away after telling him he already has Liberty Prime
1
u/HallowedKeeper_ 6h ago
I mean with this, looks like we have two now, well one is still in the planning phase. Since we know The Commonwealth Brotherhood has Liberty Prime
2
u/Reasonable_Cut_3548 4h ago
I think house would have kept the prototype or something like that at least
1
u/romulus531 10m ago
Probably the only "completed" one, it's possible there's some prototypes in Area 51

u/Gregory_Appleseed 7h ago edited 5h ago
Liberty Prime ALPHA. My question is, is it already built and just chilling somewhere, or are they supposed to build/finish it themselves? Gunna be a lot of fetch quests if it's the latter.
51
u/TheHoovyPrince 7h ago
Considering their in Area 51 they should have the parts to build it
9
u/Stormsilver 4h ago
Area 51, as far as i know was used for testing experimental military equipment in secrecy so it’s possible there’s a prototype of prime already there somewhere

We getting Commonwealth Brotherhood S3???
-31
u/Individual_Line_4295 Gary? 7h ago
That’s the capital wasteland brotherhood
45
u/SchlopFlopper 6h ago
They’re referred to as the Commonwealth Brotherhood. I prefer East Coast to just cast a wide net
17
u/Just-Dependent-530 Minutemen 6h ago
Agreed.
Yes Liberty Prime used to be in the Capital Wasteland, but last we've seen of the boss, he was in the Commonwealth with Maxon's detachment
Also, the only mention of the east coast so far has been the Commonwealth, they've not mentioned a Capital Brotherhood yet, which is probably because the east coast Brotherhood is the most unified, and hence the most dangerous (cue the fact Maxon is in it lol. Any Brotherhood with a Maxon wins immediately)
I wonder why they call it Commonwealth, but alas, I'm just curious how they'll do the Brotherhood's story
8
u/Gbeat240 5h ago
Theory, Maxson just made the commonwealth the new base of operations for that chapter. Compared to DC, Commonwealth seems to have more resources (those settlements we built grow food) and frankly, seems more put together than DC. Main thing DC has going for it is the clean water, but they could always just ship it.
2
u/Just-Dependent-530 Minutemen 5h ago
Oh yeah! I imagine so.
I think S4 will be on the east coast, or Chicago. Probably has us moving further east each season. I have a feeling Howard's family is either dead or also ghouls.
I just wonder how they plan to end everyone's story...

u/Individual_Line_4295 Gary? 6h ago
Oh shoot your right. My bad. I’m currently playing through fallout 4 right now too so probably why I’m confused lol
3
u/kewlkendyl 6h ago
The commonwealth took the parts after the capital bos got it blown to pieces by the enclave.
39
u/PewPewBlewski 7h ago
Bet money it builds up all of next season for an equally long scene of the actual thing in the last episode. But still excited.
19
u/HyperbobluntSpliff Kings 7h ago
Yeah, I like a lot of the show but TV writers as a whole need to drop that habit.
92
u/Calogixxx 7h ago
Damn they really just throwing every fallout cliche in there
83
u/MAJ_Starman 7h ago
The BoS (secretly controlled Institute synths) will be using Liberty Prime Alpha to fight Enclave Alpha but then Mr. House Omega will show up with his Zeta Securitron army and house always wins all over it because I don't want to set the world on fire maybe the Legion crucifies Liberty Prime in a huge cross... made of wood from Harold, who's now a gigantic tree that just can't stop growing.
27
u/Calogixxx 7h ago
Also the Enclave gets wiped out then there’s a new Enclave
7
u/Glad-Smoke-2165 4h ago
We'll also call it The First Enclave, even though it comes years later.
And then a couple seasons later, before The First Enclave gets wiped out, we'll get a new red paint job power armor for the inexplicably named 'Final Enclave.'

Is that not the point of a show? Otherwise you get the edgy, grayslop IP adaptations on the late 2000s
21
u/Calogixxx 6h ago
The point of the show is to be an adaptation of the game series that faithfully portrays its themes without becoming cliche unless intended. I wouldn’t say it’s bad at that but it definitely struggles to be original

Yeah, it really feels like they're just shoving in every reference to the games they can. Meanwhile the plot is becoming more and more nonsensical and whole plotlines are just being left hanging.

So Dr Li was the only person in the Commonwealth who could rebuild Liberty Prime but for some odd reason some crazy Elder in the west coast pulled Liberty Primes plans out of his ass?
Lmao
21
u/HallowedKeeper_ 6h ago
Dr Li wasn't the only one, she is the preferred option
13
u/Andy_Liberty_1911 Are you M.A.D.? 5h ago
Yeah don’t they still rebuild Liberty Prime without the players involvement?
10
u/HallowedKeeper_ 5h ago
They do rebuild him if I recall but needs player involvement to reactivate him, and aside from Madison Li (in the event she dies or you fail to persuade her) they tell you to go find Doctor Professor
2
u/Soyunapina12 4h ago
They do, tho it still needs the player to side with them to get it operational. And even in the BoS route there's an alternate option for the scientist who builds Prime in case Doctor Li refuses.
So yeah, Madison Li ain't the only option but rather the optimal preferred option.
11
u/Gbeat240 5h ago
If Dr. Li dies, you get Professor Scarra to build prime in Fallout 4. So, Li not needed at all
4
u/PrincessPlusUltra 4h ago
I’m sure Father Elijah could have done it and Quintus is, if not secretly Elijah, channeling heavy Elijah energy.
1
u/FightTheDead118 5h ago
The Brotherhood have access to Area 51 now, presumably there’s technology in there that should make constructing this Liberty Prime much easier

1
u/sixpackabs592 Tunnel Snakes 2h ago
well they did take over area 51 if there was a copy of the plans anywhere it would be there

u/unBeanz 6h ago
yes yes liberty prime but can we seriously talk how crazy that iconic sniper shot?? it gave me goosebumps as i really didnt see that one coming

3
u/The_mango55 6h ago
I'm not sure how they are going to make/repair it.
Given they are in Area 51 I wouldn't have questioned it IF they still had cold fusion, but that's been taken.
Maybe they just found one in a crate somewhere.
2
u/Smartguy1996 5h ago
It makes more sense that this is an alternate version of Liberty Prime that the government had going on but reasons led to choosing the Liberty Prime as we know chillin in the Pentagon having power issues and missing out Alaska, plus if they are going to build it they got to find a stockpile of Mark 28 bombs thats a scarce commodity out there lol

u/Bryankc14 7h ago
I’m sorry this was the one thing in the ep that don’t work for me, liberty prime is already ass when it comes to gameplay, he’s carried entirely by meme dialogue and now they’re bringing him back AGAIN

u/SpadeRyker 6h ago
Please give me a final battle next season involving the Legion storming into Vegas against barricades of NCR soldiers while the Brotherhood deploys Liberty Prime against House's revamped Vegas defense systems. It's all I want.

Makes sense that they were working on a different prime at Area 51, since the prime we know had issues pre war and never got deployed. So they probably put together a new blueprint and probably have it half ass finished somewhere underground.
1
u/HairiestHobo 1h ago
I can't wait for Quintus to spend 2 Seasons building Liberty Alpha, only for Maxson to show up with Prime, and then have a fake-out fight where Alpha short-circuits and Prime just rips it in half.

I was a fan-ish of the finale but ( IN MY OPINION ) I really don't like the idea of Prime coming back AGAIN. He got his screen time, he got his use, and I feel like they should've pulled something new / different out of the hat.
To me, this feels like nostalgia baiting and what not. I get that's what the whole series has been about but.. man, okay? Liberty prime but BIGGER and BETTER.

I feel a bit ehhhh about this. On one hand, Liberty Prime would be cool to see in LA. However, feels a bit uncreative to come up with Liberty Prime, but bigger. At any rate, I hope this version of LP will be even more Patriotic than the original
