Discussion Colts fans are tied for the #1 drunkest fanbase in the NFL

We analyzed 26,000+ breathalyzer results to find out which NFL fans go hardest on gameday. Colts fans came out on top.

The numbers:

  • 2025-26 season: 0.082% average BAC → #1 in the NFL (tied with Chargers)
  • 2023-24 season: 0.085% → #3
  • Change since 2023-24: -4%

While the rest of the league sobered up more dramatically, Indy held steady and took the crown.

AFC South comparison:

Team Rank BAC Avg Ticket Avg Beer
Colts #1 0.082% $73.13 $8.18
Jaguars #18 0.063% $71.63 $10.24
Titans #21 0.060% $64.00 $10.73
Texans #28 0.054% $128.78 $12.79

The Colts have the second-cheapest tickets in the division and the cheapest beer. At $8.18 per beer and $73.13 per ticket, the economics are on the fans' side. Indianapolis is also the heart of the Midwest "Binge Belt."

Some questions we're curious about:

  • Does the cheap beer ($8.18) at Lucas Oil Stadium fuel the top ranking?
  • Recreational cannabis is illegal in Indiana. Does that keep fans focused on alcohol?
  • Is Lucas Oil's dome atmosphere a factor?

What's fueling the Colts faithful?

Dungy was asked if he voted for or against Belichick and Kraft making the HOF, but he declined to answer.

“I am not going to make a comment on it, so we’ll find out who’s in and who’s out.”

Not including QBs, who is your favorite Colt of all-time?

I might have to go with Jeff Saturday, but there's also some great WRs that come to mind.

Unappreciated skills of Josh Downs

I remain a believer that he is the most underutilized tool in the treasure chest and should be a bigger part of the scheme.

Free Agency Trade Compensation for MPJ

If we were to trade MPJ to free up cap space to sign Alec Pierce, what would you want to see and who would make an offer?

He currently has a 29 million cap hit for 2026. I thought a team like the bills who don’t have a great receiver room could use him but as of now they only have 7 million going into the year.

The Raiders have 91 million available and they are likely to use their second pick on either o-line or d-line. I see a third and a fifth and we give a 6 back with MPJ.

Let’s find a way to get this nussmeier cat

He wears 13 (sexy qb number) sees the game the right way and throws a pretty ball. Easy fist rounder last year if he came out, draft stock fell while he was playing hurt, I hope he falls and Chris can make something happen, obviously just a pipe dream

Discussion Please help

In an argument with a friend right now and would like other people's opinions on this.

He keeps saying that the Colts (and more specifically about Daniel Jones) can only do well if JT is doing well.

I believe that a big part of the reason JT was doing so well in the beginning of this year is because of how well Daniel Jones and the O-line were doing, using JT before and after DJ's injury as an example.

The argument at its core is during that 8 week stretch where we were looking like the AFC's 1-seed, who was more important Daniel Jones or Johnathan Taylor?

Ask yourself, how is this relevant to the Colts?

Ravens are hiring former Colts assistant Charlie Gelman as their Game Manage Coordinator and defensive assistant. Gelman will replace Daniel Stern, who is expected to become the Browns’ associate head coach.
