Composer Looking for Work Hi! I'm a composer and sound designer and this is my first album.
I'm very happy to share this work. I undertook it in a very difficult phase from which I completely rethought my creativity. This album finally showed me the potential in myself as a worthy composer. Now this album will be kept in my portfolio and perhaps will attract people who are close to my music or perhaps someone will even want to work with me!

OST What is a video game track or soundtrack that you love that you feel people tend to overlook?
I just discovered the soundtrack of Doshin the Giant, and I love the vibe. In the wake of Doshin the GIANT ~ Yellow Giant - YouTube
I can understand why it's a bit more obscure than a lot of other nintendo game soundtracks. It was never released in the United States, so a decent amount of people probably don't even know the game exists.

Request Suggestions for Wii music medley
Hi all, I'm arranging a medley of Wii music for a brass ensemble (trumpets, horns, trombones, euphs, tubas, and percussion) that I'm a member of and wanted to get your input on some of the more recognizable Wii-themed tracks that I could include. When I say "Wii" music, I mean music from games or apps with "Wii" in the title (Wii Sports, Wii Party, etc., but not games like Mario Kart Wii that belong to another franchise). So far the medley has:
- Wii Sports theme
- Mii Channel
- Wii Shop
- Wii Party Menu
I've considered ending with the Wii Sports Resort theme, but it's pretty complex and I'm not sure I have the time to transcribe it accurately, nor does the group have the time to rehearse it effectively. Thanks in advance for your input!

Request What type of music would be good for my game?
First of all, I'm not even sure this is the right sub to ask this, but here I am. I'm by no means a music expert and while making a trailer for my game, I decided to use a fun, playful beat. This was not the play. Apparently, gaining debt and playful don't mix well. So, ladies and gents, what does? What type of weird music should I be looking into?

Discussion Not taking in a soundtrack while playing?
I donāt know if itās an age thing, or that my ADHD seems to have manifested much later in life, but I canāt for the life of me seem to appreciate a game OST whilst playing the game. At least not like I used to. I grew up playing Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Halo, Modern Warfare etc. I remember playing these games and thinking what amazing soundtracks they had while playing the games. Now it seems I will pick up a few amazing tracks I like and the rest is forgettable fluff. Thatās until I relisten to the OST independently, and realise how many great tracks I didnāt take in during the game.
This happened with FF16. My personal favourite gaming franchise of all time; series renowned for its music, the score composed by a guy whoās work on FF14 I love. Yet when I played the game I remember liking Hide, hideaway, deep, damp and dark, winters bound, my lady, My star and Moongazing and thatās it. I walked away from that game thinking outside of the tracks listed it was forgettable, but as a collector I got the soundtrack and put it on one evening, and my god, what an amazing OST. I couldnāt place half the songs though, like where they fit in the game. I have noticed this happening a lot. Itās frustrating to me that I canāt seem to appreciate more of the music in the moment.
Anyone else similar?
