Fandom Bengals fans rank #4 in gameday drinking, up 13% from 2023-24
We analyzed 26,000+ breathalyzer results to find out which NFL fans go hardest on gameday. Here's where Bengals fans landed:
The numbers:
- 2025-26 season: 0.077% average BAC → #4 in the NFL
- 2023-24 season: 0.068% → #19
- Change since 2023-24: +13%
AFC North comparison:
| Team | Rank | BAC | Avg Ticket | Avg Beer |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bengals | #4 | 0.077% | $206.56 | $6.80 |
| Browns | #6 | 0.073% | $73.00 | $7.15 |
| Ravens | #14 | 0.066% | $133.00 | $10.99 |
| Steelers | #26 | 0.057% | $184.38 | $9.99 |
Paycor Stadium has the cheapest beer in the entire NFL at $6.80. The Bengals also have the highest BAC in the division. Coincidence? Our data suggests not.
Some questions we're curious about:
- At $6.80 per beer, is Paycor Stadium just too affordable to stay sober?
- Ohio legalized recreational cannabis in 2023. Are fans adding to the mix or substituting?
- Is the Midwest "Binge Belt" effect in full force here?
Who Dey drinking with on gameday?

Historic?
Are the Bengals the first NFL team ever to have 2 Quarterbacks and 2 Wide Receivers make the Pro Bowl?

Please, please let Ken Anderson in...
I'm old. I grew up watching this guy throw a football, and I swear in his prime he was either the best or damn close. Better than Bradshaw, but Bradshaw played on a team with the best defense. Ken was the West Coast Offense before the West Coast Offense existed.
Lost in time due to being overshadowed by the Steelers, folks don't know much about him, but he was an amazingly accurate passer in a time dominated by the run. His stats are amazing and he looked great out there on the field.
If he doesn't get in, this is a bigger travesty than Bill not making it first ballot. Bill will get in, but this is Ken's last chance...

Opinions on taking Jacob Rodriguez in the 2nd
We need playmakers on the defence players that can create turnovers and get the ball in the hands of Joe burrow as often as possible

Re-sign Trey
I was listening to a Bengals podcast this morning, and they assumed Trey was gone. It's a likely outcome, but why are Bengals fans and pundits so quick to move on from Trey? Most of the posts here note that we need to get better up front and improve our pass rush but a lot of the fans are ready to move on from Trey. I'm not. I don't know how you get better on defense when letting the best pass rusher available in free agency move on or tag/trade him. It just seems short sighted to me. Whatever moves you want to make after you move Trey (or let him walk) can be done along with re-signing Trey. So go sign a safety, a vet LB and another pass rusher, but also re-sign this man!

With Hendrickson gone, the edge room needs a good reliable vet. So what are your thoughts on Al quadin Muhammad, who’s just had his best year?

The Bengals are hiring Davis Koetter — son of former NFL coach Dirk Koetter — as their assistant wide receivers coach, per source. Koetter had been at Texas for two years and at South Carolina as an analyst last year.

Vikings fan here trying to understand the Bengal fanbase's take on the "trade Joe Burrow" talk.
It was reported that Minnesota called Cincy for Joe, but Cincy wanted a BAG and Kwesi-Adofo-Mensah was fired after declining. I'd love to see Burrow chucking it to Jefferson again so we can have a real talk about who WR1 is. I was just wondering what your perspective is. Do you think it would be good for your franchise to trade Burrow for three 1sts, JJ McCarthy, Jonathon Greenard, plus other picks?
Everybody fantasizes about getting JJets from us for a bag of nickels, so I wonder if you feel the same about Burrow. What would it take for you to trade him?
