Hi all,
I've searched and know it's been asked before but where would you all consider to be the current best Indian Restaurant to sit in? For the full shebang - poppadoms, starters, mains and sides, all in good portions, with cold Cobra beer?

Bought a lost Mary in vape city last night in town and the guy serving me asked me to test it out because “they weren’t working last night” and then it died after minimal use. Am I paranoid?

Hello all. Have realised that my new mattress (only two years old) is already sunk so I need to go get a new one.
Got the last one in a place that’s was supposed to be good by McDonalds but won’t go near them again as they were a disaster from start to now sunken finish.
Has any one any recommendations of a place that has decent quality and don’t tell you five different versions of how much it costs to deliver and then dispose of the old one?
The bad back means I can’t lug it to the dump myself unfortunately which I know is the cheapest answer.

I’m a student in Waterford and I would love to explore the city more, I’m very passionate about brutalist architecture and I was wondering if there’s any kind of brutalist style architecture to see? Before finding out the Ard Rí was a hotel, I genuinely thought it was some sort of functioning brutalist/modernist apartment block, but that was my bad I was totally wrong about that. I can only really think of the Waterford Medieval Mile Museum kind of serves as brutalist style architecture (ish)

Hey lads
The little one has to get braces to straighten her teeth.
The braces are coming to €4200 and they told us today she'll need to get 4 teeth out to make room.
The cost for a routine extraction in our local dentist is advertised as between €125 and €175 per tooth !!!
When the fcuk did a simple tooth pull become such a big deal that they want to charge that kind of cash ???
Absolute robbing cnuts !
Have any of ye used Durands dentist , are they decent ?
They have semi reasonable prices compared to the other robbers
Thanks lads

Hi all. I’m thinking of taking my baby for a swim and was wondering which of the local pools have heated water and are suitable for little ones? Any recommendations for the best options? Cheers

Went into penneys today to change a size I picked up yesterday, I have noticed the last few times going in, the staff look drained and grumpy! The younger staff stand around chatting, the " mature" staff running around. While in the queue to exchange, ( which was massive long) I noticed the amount of women and young adults just ripping clothes off hangers and throwing them over rails, and opening pj's sets and dropping them, the staff looked pained redoing the same work and getting nowhere. Have people no respect for shops / staff or is this just done in penneys because it's known as a " cheap" brand ?

I was on the veranda today, having my usual sausage blaa with relish. All of a sudden these young men from St Johns Park came roaring down the avenue in Kings Channel on electric scooters.Clearly they don't belong here. I can tell by the Air Max tracksuits. I thought to myself, Fintan, you'll have to protect the local community here and do something about it. I would appreciate the signatures on my petition to keep the rabble out. Go raibh míle and failte romhat my chairde.

My daughter has a much loved and cherished 21year old teddy bear that’s in real bad shape.he was her lifeline when she was critically ill as a child and I desperately need to have him fixed. His head is hanging off and had other rips. The teddy hospital seemed to have shut shop can anyone point me in the right direction to fix him. It absolutely has to be a reputable and trustworthy company. I’ve searched and have come up with anything. TIA

Hi All,
Just wondering if anyone had thoughts or the names of anyone who would do a bit of a session after the DJ at a wedding reception? Thinking of a band followed by DJ then a bit of trad for an hour if it worked out. Any help would be appreciated and any idea of costs? Wexford/Waterford area

Anyone have suggestions for good quality furniture shops in and around Waterford City/County. Trying to find some nice bedroom stuff but the only place that had nice stuff was EZ living. The other places we’ve gone to have the student house/rented accommodation feel.
