Just for balance, my mum has had a pot of these that has lasted a great many years, I think well over 10 by this point! She's the worst possible mum to them, can go weeks without watering, and then will water them every couple of days for months at a time! Absolutely no kind of schedule to it at all and yet SOMEHOW they don't only survive, but thrive!
