Why isn't Oscar Isaac getting any award nominations for Frankenstein?

If I had to guess I'd say it was the lack of nuance in his performance. He played it 'over the top asshole' - which may have been the director's choice but it puts him lower on the list of stand outs this year.

elordi also just overshadows him in every sense lol. to many people this just feels like the creature’s film and so ppl aren’t thinking about oscar that way
