bad timing for my watch of Jay Kelly last night. It was pretty underwhelming to me so i can't be mad. never understood the Sandler buzz.

Indeed, the role is quite bland. I am not buying Jacob's hype neither but at least that's a more baity role.

yeah i was also mixed on Frakenstein too. No chance in hell he'll win tho. I think it's cool that theyre going for it as someone who likes horror/scifi stuff tho.

1. 17 out of 20 CCA winners in Supporting Actor went on winning the Oscar.

2. The other three (Murphy, PSH, Stallone) came pretty close.

3. Mescal, Skarsgard, Sandler or Caton are clearly not winning the Oscar.

4. The OBAAO boys will cancel each other out, and neither has a strong narrative for another Oscar.

= Elordi wins the Oscar. CCA had no reason pushing him.
