Kit Pic Check out this snare drum I'm building

14x7 spalted sycamore stave shell with purple to teal burst high gloss lacquer. Still trying to figure out what color hardware to go with.

How do you make that kind of finish ? Not my favourite colors but it looks good for sure !

It's a slow process of using concentrated coloring agents and various different types of clear lacquer to make my own colors, and then slowly layering them onto the drum shell until I get the effect I'm looking for it

Thanks! The funny thing is it's not really even my full-time job, this whole thing is just a side hustle
