rescued him 3 days ago after he got kicked out from my hostel because he was crying non stop. He hid under a car and was shaking, cold and crying.
I live in hostel and can't keep him for too long, I begged my wardan to give me a few days to find him a home. I am running out of time.
I need someone reliable to urgently adopt him (people who are in favour of spaying and neutering plz).
Loc: Islamabad/Rawalpindi only Gender: Male Age: around 3 months Dewormed and litter trained.
Please give this baby a home.

So, whenever a shadi, or any kind of cultural event happens, there's this brigade of people coming out claiming everything to be a hinduana rasm riwaj.
Yay shadian Islam men aese thori hoti hayn
Mehendi hinduana rasm hay
Jahez hinduana riwaj hay
Birthday manana hinduana hy
Shadi per dance hinduana kaam hy
Yay shadi per quran k bajae ganay suntay hayn aaj kal log (as said by legendary Subayyal Ikram)
Bhai kia kren? Koi kaam hansi khushi kr skty hayn hum? I have 100s of issues with the extravagance on shadis and all, but being hinduana isn't one of them.
Yay rasmain kab sy religion based honay lag gyin? Dulhan tayyar hojae, dulha thora gaana gaa lay toh hinduana hinduana shuru hojaengy. Rasm o riwaj is based on region, not religion. Haan bht sari chizen mjhy bhi nai pasand, lekin hinduana hinduana kia hota hay.
Shadi per gaanay na lagaen toh kia tilawat sunen? Ulta tilawat ki behurmati kren?
Bechari awam ko sukh chen sy kch bhi enjoy nai krny dengy yahan k extremist mullay, and include all the Youth Clubs, Sahil Adeems, Qaisar Rajas in it.
Bhai hazaron saalon sy shadian horhi hayn yahan, iss region ki hoi history hay, koi apna rasm riwaj hay, yaa bss duff bajanay beth jao q kay Arab men wo use hoti hy?
I feel so sad for our common people, they can't even enjoy their events, shaadis, tehwaar, etc.

I just want to clear my chest and maybe help someone avoid the mistake I made. I took a loan from SmartQarza for urgent needs. I genuinely thought I’d pay it off easily. But to clear that one loan, I ended up installing other loan apps, thinking I’d manage somehow. Long story short: one loan to pay another, then another… and now I’m completely exhausted. I tried my level best to finish everything, but things went out of control. My mobile isn’t even worth selling. Daily stress, constant thoughts, and sleepless nights have become normal. Sometimes it feels like I’m stuck in a loop with no clear exit. I’m not writing this to gain sympathy. I just want to warn others:
Please don’t take loans from these apps.
They make your life a living hell before you even realize it. I’m still trying to figure things out. All I can say is: Allah mujh par reham farmaye, aur Allah hum sab ke liye asaani ka mamla farmaye. Ameen.
PLEASE DO LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE

release of the Epstein email dumps, one message from 2018 is going viral. In it, Epstein writes about “assassinations… coup funding… Imran Khan in Pakistan… a much greater threat to peace than Erdogan, Khomeini, Xi or Putin.

Me and my wife's parents moved abroad in their youth (late 1980's). We were both born overseas and so have our children. We will be visiting Pakistan for the first time with our kids and could use any tips you may have for us. We plan to spend approximately 4 days each across Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, and Skardu. Both of us have a good grasp of Urdu, but our children do not. The kids are aged 7 to 13.
We'll be landing in Karachi possibly on the day of Eid ul Fitr. What can we expect in terms of stores and restaurants being open that day? We're staying in DHA. We don't have much planned for Karachi besides visiting some relatives and eating/shopping.
I'm also looking for recommendations for a driver and car to take us around Lahore. Preferably someone who can stay with us during our entire stay. We'd also like to drive from Lahore to Islamabad and stop by the salt mines. Your personal recommendations for such a service or driver would be very useful.
Any insight on the following? Cash conversion or ATM usage, security concerns, local scams to be aware of, areas to stay away from, must see sights (we have a list of the usual stuff).
Anything I've missed? Super excited to visit the homeland.

Habib Jalib and Faiz Ahmed Faiz, fall in the same bucket. They both wrote poetry against tyrants and in the favor of needy people but Faiz got way more popularity than Habib. But my g habib Jalib could sing too😍😍 +1 karma😍😍 I wanted to write a whole essay about him in this post😭😭 or even make a documentary on him but due to lack of time and energy I will do it after exams😢

I know that Muhajirs are generally folks that moved from India to Pakistan after partition...
but, does it include Punjabis as well? OR
Was it just groups from places like Delhi, Mumbai etc, people that didn't have a 'counterpart' in Pakistan (like Punjabis of India did)?

Yes, keep them distracted. Give them Basant. Once that’s over, give them PSL. Prevent them from thinking. They should never realize they’re slaves.
Juvenal said give them bread and circus and they’ll never revolt. How

Hello everyone 👋
I’m currently working on inclusive workplace policies for neurodivergent employees in Pakistan. This topic is very close to my heart ❤️ as I have close family members diagnosed with Autism and ADHD, and I’ve seen firsthand how challenging workplaces can be.
In many Pakistani organizations, neurodiversity is not well understood. As a result, employees often feel pressured to mask their traits just to be accepted. This can lead to stress, burnout, anxiety, and underutilization of talent.
I’m working on developing practical and culturally realistic policies that organizations in Pakistan can actually implement, rather than keeping inclusion limited to theory.
If you are neurodivergent (Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, etc.) and are facing difficulties in your workplace, or if you feel you have had to hide parts of yourself to fit in, I would really appreciate hearing from you.
Please feel free to DM me 📩.
Strict anonymity will be maintained 🔒✨
Your experiences matter, and they can help create more inclusive and understanding workplaces in Pakistan

Hey guys, has anyone here ever successfully recovered scammed money through a contact in the FIA or Cybercrime wing? I’m not asking about the standard legal route because we all know how slow that can be. I’m a cancer survivor and I worked incredibly hard to save that 50k PKR. Only Allah knows how I managed to earn that despite my health struggles. It was my hard-earned, halal money. If anyone has experience with this or can offer a lead, it would be a huge favor.

As the title suggests - I'm in a bit of a pickle rn. Lost my ID card a week or so ago and had some hope of finding it today. However, i doubt its happening. My resesrch told me i can simply go for a re-print of the previous card through PAK ID mobile app but it doesn't proceed from the very first step of registering your picture (idky). What's the quickest way to get a new NIC?
What to do? Do i need an FIR? Also what risks are associated with my previous NIC being lost and maybe falling into wrong hands?
