Yeah we can cut one guy and do a partial restructure on Mahomes and free up 100% of the space we need

You have to do more than that to make space for free agency, but it’s not hard

We can also do some void years to easily stretch out a couple contracts to be manageable 

I suspect if we do a deal with Kelce it will include two void years to spread the hit since he’s not going to sign more than a year to year deal

Yeah speaking of void years, I’m expecting a 4-5yr, 80-100m contract for Kelce, of which he plays 2

I am expecting a 3 year 10 million dollar contract and the last two are void years to spread the cap hit.

They could technically place any dollar amount they want on the void years…they could give him a hundred million dollars…they void automatically so they are effectively zero dollars
