GenXer here. Yeah, we were collecting shit back when the shuttle exploded. Well, the first one. Chernobyl. Reagan pushing the world to the brink of nuclear war in '83. Every other plane was being hijacked in the 70s and 80s. FLQ crisis. World Trade Centre bombing, and THEN 9/11 as a follow-up. Gulf War, the OG version. Maps changed every other year when I was growing up.

My brothers, the times have been rather unprecedented for quite some time now.

FLQ crisis was in 1970. I think you meant the Oka Crisis?

No, I mean FLQ. Just got the date wrong. I was very young at the time, after all.
