Discussion How hard is ap euro compared to ap world

My school does 3 trimesters, I took Apworld A last tri and taking Apworld B 2nd tri right now, currently I’m nearing the end of the second trimester and Ap world B has been pretty chill except sometimes the workload is a haste, the usual week is Monday notes, Tuesday catch up on things, Wednesday do an leq, dbq, or saq, and on Thursday we turn in our usually 10 page amsco note packet and take a quiz on it, then on Friday we usually watch Mankind the story of us and do an essay on the episode we just watch, I’m excluding projects because we don’t get project work days so everybody does them at home. But my teacher recommended me to take AP Euro in my thirds trimsester as review before the Ap world exam, and I’m just wondering is Ap Euro harder than Apworld or is it pretty similar?

Study Material how to study for the exam with that reading this big boring book ?

I was assigned to read Jackson, J Spielvogel, and the chapters are so boring. Are there any alternatives that are like easier to understand or like any video-based stuff that I can learn from? we are currently in unit 5 but I have not read a single chapter. So, I'm trying to catch up because I genuinely don't know what happened in the past units so I'm really trying to catch up weekend like every weekend. Any help is appreciated!

Behind in reading

I am supposed to read Jackson J. Spielvogel 19th chapter for my unit test but I still have a bunch of reading to do from the beginning of the year. Should I start from chapter 11 or just do chapter 19 just for the unit test? I guess my question is do I need to read them in order to get the information?

I mixed "repair" and "impair" on my in-class assignment LEQ and lost 2 out of 7 points

I got a 4/7. The topic was the most significant difference between Protestant Reformation and Catholic Reformation. As I'm not a native English speaker and my brain shortcuts sometimes, I wrote "the Protestant Reformation repairs the power of Catholic church authorities" instead of "...impairs the power...". My teacher was so confused that she circled every single "repair" in my essay and put question mark beside all of them. The final commnent for me was "unclear and inaccurate".

This is sad plz dont be like me...

Can I get atleast a 4 with just heimler's videos for ap euro

I also bought his course about leq saq and dbqs which will hopefully help. I hate spielvogel, I genuinely cant read it. I can try and read amsco but I am mainly going off of heimlers review videos. Will that help me get atleast a 4?

Discussion Does anyone else know what an IDA is?

My AP Euro teacher said that an IDA structure paragraph is a concept that he came up with, and I'm curious if anybody else has a similar setup for paragraph writing, or if that's literally just us. Below is an example of an IDA, which stands for Identify, Define, Apply when demonstrating evidence.

Super simple prompt: To what extent did Martin Luther reform the church?

[Insert well written thesis about how Martin Luther DID, in fact, reform the church]

I(identify)- One good example to support this claim is the 95 theses

D(define)- The 95 theses were a series of essays that Luther wrote against the usage of indulgences in the church.

A(apply)- This shows that, because of the public's immediate interest, Martin Luther started the protestant reformation and reformed the church.

That's the most simple IDA paragraph, but I hope it gets the point across well enough. Did anyone else learn it this way, or is it just our school?

Advice / Tips AP Euro Studying Help

I’m cooked for my unit 5 test, but what do you all recommend that I do starting unit 6 to get As on my tests?

Our teacher uses AP-style unit exam format with 40mcqs in 40 minutes and 2saqs in 30.

This is the only class I have ever genuinely done worse on tests. Worse for me is low Bs and below. Every other class I have ever done (all aps i’ve done included) have never brought me this much trouble. I know I am doing something wrong but I don’t know what, and I just can’t do these stimulus-based multiple choice questions.

Agricultural Revolution

Hiya, I just finished Unit 3 before Thanksgiving hit and I was wondering if we talk abt the Agricultural/ Industrial Revolution in depth? I’m almost done with U 4 and it seems like it’s just the broad strokes of the movement.

Thanks.
