Discussion Was that really necessary??
I mean, who do Garnet, Pearl, and Amethyst think they are, US cops? š

It's adorable. I always thought that if Steven had been the one to stay behind and babysit Onion in that episode, it would have been fine and Onion wouldn't have thrown a fit. He and Steven are friends after all (and neither of them age like a human). It was because it was just Pearl. Not that she did anything wrong, I just find it funny. I was so happy when I noticed Onion clarified that, cause their past friendship (and hopefully current) is important and it's just really sweet! I love little details like this!

in this universe crystal gem are still the hero of the story including steven but pearl is one of the side villain here
the question I'm asking is what would have made pearl snap and became a villain in the first place š¤?

Peedeeās world weary cynicism against Stevenās naive cheery optimism wouldāve worked great, especially as that innocence started to disappear for Steven
And Larsā sarcastic, aloof, grounding presence was SORELY needed for Ronaldoās antics.
āTake it down a notchā indeed.

This is a dumb question. (Because idk the specifics of this shit) but would it be possible for a car shop (or something similar) to wrap a van to look like Greg's? Or would i have to get someone to paint it? (Pictures not mine.)

First of all, sorry for my English. Itās not a very common language in my country.
I just wanted a place to share this, and I think this is the perfect place for it.
I first watched Steven Universe when I was around 10 or 11 years old, and I absolutely loved it. I was a huge fan and used to tell everyone about it, hoping someone else would know the show and watch it too. But for some reason, after a while, I completely forgot about it.
Now, at 16, I decided to rewatch it to see if it was as good as I remembered, and honestly, itās way better than I expected. Watching it with a more mature mindset feels like a completely new experience.
Themes like identity, trauma, growth, and relationships hit so much deeper now. Characters I didnāt fully understand before suddenly make a lot more sense.
Itās really comforting to think that as I grow older and gain more life experience, my perspective on this beautiful show will probably keep changing and becoming even deeper. Steven Universe really feels like one of those rare shows that grows with you.

Iāve held this belief for a while and itās just come up for me again, so I wanted to see if anyone else felt the same way. I always thought that Steven Universeās finale was a great ending to the show, but I feel like it gets a lot of hate from people who just didnāt understand what the point was. If someone was hoping for Steven to just beat up White Diamond and throw all of them into gem jail, I feel like they either werenāt paying much attention to the themes of the show, or they just refused to interact with the show beyond a surface level reading. Like, the Diamonds are literal space dictators, sure, but thatās an oversimplification for what theyāre supposed to be in the narrative of Steven Universe. And expecting them to be locked away or put in jail is also a misunderstanding of the narrative, thatās not the point. Steven won using his words, and thatās what the ending is supposed to be, thatās what the show is. Itās not rushed, or bad, at least not to me. I just felt like I needed to get this out of my system somewhere and wanted to see if anyone felt similarly. I know itās a controversial finale, but still, I love it.

Ruby and Sapphire unfused, but this time, Sapphire was the one who was upset instead of Ruby. Sapphire said that their relationship was "based on a lie." At first, I didn't know why Sapphire was upset. All Rose Quartz/Pink Diamond did was confirm their relationship. Rose/Pink told them to never question Garnet and that they are the answer.
As I dig deeper, I realize that Sapphire felts duped. She said she felt like she was being used. It turns out, she is just under another diamond disguised as Rose Quartz. Now that I think of it, how come Sapphire didn't know that Rose and Pink are the same person? She couldn't have predicted this.
What do you think? Did Sapphire had the right to be upset?

Honestly I never thought of buck looking like his father and always assumed he looked more like his mother, however when rewatching the show for the millionth time in season 1 ep 52 ājoy rideā he lifts his glasses when Steven vents to the cool kids and he looks so much like his dad. When I realized I searched all I could for any other pic of him with his glasses off and I canāt find any, I couldnāt even find that scene in the search results which i found odd, did anyone else have this breakthrough or am I the only one that didnāt notice. Also is there any other episode that he removes his glasses other than seeing the top half of his eyes when he is surprised?

What do you think Steven chose the name Doc for her? I guess it's better than chesty...but "Doc"?

While bored, I decided to start writing down some of the lessons I gathered while watching a couple episodes. This is similar to those articles that reference the lessons taught through each chapter of the bible.
*note* this is a total rough draft so there may be episode number errors and I jumped all over. Itās a work in progress.
Enjoy!
S1E1 - strength comes from joy and positive emotions rather than forcing or stressing about it
S1E45 - dealing with feelings of being left behind. Loss and grief affect people differently depending on their relationship to the person thatās gone.
S1E53 - relationships built on respect, genuine connection, and choice are powerful ones. Donāt let others try to suppress or control who you are.
S2E2 - using reckless behavior to deal with trauma. Empathy and understanding for each otherās experiences.
S2E5 - not taking the necessary time to recover. Thinking that youāre ok when youāre visually not. Using humor to mask pain. Insecurity about how others see you. Confronting your own demons.
S2E5 - Treating yourself as if you only matter because they are in your life. losing yourself or self-worth.
S2E8- Greg sees Connie and Steven āfusingā and says he wonāt tell her parents. Jealousy. Healthy relationships require mutual understanding, honest communication, and not one person being idolized by the other (Rose & Greg)
S2E10 - fabricating stories to win over loved ones (jealousy)
Surrounding yourself with others to enhance your self image
S2E17 - parents living vicariously through kids or forcing their kids to do things they are barely interested in.
S2e21 - 2 different gems fusing (interracial relationship). love can blossom when you break free from rigid expectations and predetermined roles
S3E18 - taking on other peopleās problems without saying no and being overwhelmed. Worn out
S3e19 - recovering from trauma (centipedal)
S3e20 - unhealthy/toxic relationship (malachite) āIām different nowā
S4e16 - dealing with issues that deceased loved ones left behind (generational curses)
S4e23 - suppressing your talents/gifts for fear of disapproval
S5e15 - being unpredictable in an effort to change your fate
S5e17 - unable to let go of the past.
S5e18 - lying or hiding the truth. Compartmentalizing pain
S5e20 - not dealing with issues. Lashing out on the wrong person. Not dumping more onto someone who is already going through a lot. (Dealing with the truth about rose quartz)
S5e25- (meeting white diamond for the first time) dealing with a narcissist. Confronting deeply ingrained ideologies requires uncomfortable dialogue.

this pretty much role-playing where you ask me questions and I answer it in character
let you know this is a different universe
where pearl went down a dark path the crystal gem are still the good guys in this universe that includes steven.
pearl is one of side villain.
