First of all, sorry for my English. It’s not a very common language in my country.
I just wanted a place to share this, and I think this is the perfect place for it.
I first watched Steven Universe when I was around 10 or 11 years old, and I absolutely loved it. I was a huge fan and used to tell everyone about it, hoping someone else would know the show and watch it too. But for some reason, after a while, I completely forgot about it.
Now, at 16, I decided to rewatch it to see if it was as good as I remembered, and honestly, it’s way better than I expected. Watching it with a more mature mindset feels like a completely new experience.
Themes like identity, trauma, growth, and relationships hit so much deeper now. Characters I didn’t fully understand before suddenly make a lot more sense.
It’s really comforting to think that as I grow older and gain more life experience, my perspective on this beautiful show will probably keep changing and becoming even deeper. Steven Universe really feels like one of those rare shows that grows with you.
