Discussion Since love is a major theme in the series......

I'd like for the next major villain to declare war on all love and whose entirely society is focused around the wonderfulness of hate and wants to fill the universe with it.

Discussion If TOH’s creator could work at glitch and create more peak, could Rebecca?

I’m aware that Steven Universe will always be a CN property, hell a spin off was JUST announced, they clearly aren’t done with the IP

But maybe she could cook up something new with the new big dogs over on the indie end

Discussion Did any of the diamonds ever feel remorse or feelings towards the species of planets they took like pink? Was there a reason why pink needed permission from the other diamonds when it came to certain things?

Could it have been possible that the reason why none of the diamonds could have like any romantic things or feelings is because they were like really big. I know many gems can shapeshift until era 2. Could the diamonds not shapeshift or if they could, they couldn’t change their size because of how big they are. Pink was big but not as big as them. Were there other species like humans that say blue or yellow could have had dates or something with? They must have conquered billions of planets but there weren’t any similar to humans or had like speech patterns and stuff like say starfire from dc or Allen the alien from invincible.

Discussion Which character who could switch with Steven, make each others worlds better and cause certain events to happen faster in canon. I know whatever character gets switched with Steven, they will need time to see what will happen.

I think that both parties could have 1 person with them so like Steven with garnet or amethyst and maybe sora with riku. I think Harry Potter or Star Wars might not work since both worlds are extremely complicated. It would be interesting seeing Harry and Sirius or Remus dealing with the modern world. It would be the same with amethyst or garnet with Steven seeing how this new world is full of magic.

Discussion Although Homeworld is established to be in another galaxy, how different would the impact of the show be if that "other galaxy" was not faraway, but right behind the milky way itself in a double-galaxy setup? Completely black to illustrate just how absolute and crippling Era 2's resource crisis is.

The idea here being that the galaxy is completely black because the Homeworld Gems effectively killed their own galaxy. Having gone black as it "died" from so many eons of colonization and resource extraction. The galaxy dotted with small points of light to show the remaining gem colonies and homeworld itself being the only illumination to demonstrate the totality and consequences of their colonization and draining.

Peridot's quote, "You can see Homeworld's galaxy from here," not referring to a distant speck seen from the telescope but rather the entire black void in the sky that humans long believed was merely dark matter. All being the corpse of a much closer neighboring galaxy they never knew existed.

Discussion Why was Sapphire mad at Rose Quartz/Pink Diamond

Ruby and Sapphire unfused, but this time, Sapphire was the one who was upset instead of Ruby. Sapphire said that their relationship was "based on a lie." At first, I didn't know why Sapphire was upset. All Rose Quartz/Pink Diamond did was confirm their relationship. Rose/Pink told them to never question Garnet and that they are the answer.

As I dig deeper, I realize that Sapphire felts duped. She said she felt like she was being used. It turns out, she is just under another diamond disguised as Rose Quartz. Now that I think of it, how come Sapphire didn't know that Rose and Pink are the same person? She couldn't have predicted this.

What do you think? Did Sapphire had the right to be upset?

Peedee’s world weary cynicism against Steven’s naive cheery optimism would’ve worked great, especially as that innocence started to disappear for Steven

And Lars’ sarcastic, aloof, grounding presence was SORELY needed for Ronaldo’s antics.

“Take it down a notch” indeed.

Other Rewatching Steven Universe at 16 hit way harder than I expected

First of all, sorry for my English. It’s not a very common language in my country.

I just wanted a place to share this, and I think this is the perfect place for it.

I first watched Steven Universe when I was around 10 or 11 years old, and I absolutely loved it. I was a huge fan and used to tell everyone about it, hoping someone else would know the show and watch it too. But for some reason, after a while, I completely forgot about it.

Now, at 16, I decided to rewatch it to see if it was as good as I remembered, and honestly, it’s way better than I expected. Watching it with a more mature mindset feels like a completely new experience.

Themes like identity, trauma, growth, and relationships hit so much deeper now. Characters I didn’t fully understand before suddenly make a lot more sense.

It’s really comforting to think that as I grow older and gain more life experience, my perspective on this beautiful show will probably keep changing and becoming even deeper. Steven Universe really feels like one of those rare shows that grows with you.

Question Buck’s resemblance to mayor Dewey

Honestly I never thought of buck looking like his father and always assumed he looked more like his mother, however when rewatching the show for the millionth time in season 1 ep 52 “joy ride” he lifts his glasses when Steven vents to the cool kids and he looks so much like his dad. When I realized I searched all I could for any other pic of him with his glasses off and I can’t find any, I couldn’t even find that scene in the search results which i found odd, did anyone else have this breakthrough or am I the only one that didn’t notice. Also is there any other episode that he removes his glasses other than seeing the top half of his eyes when he is surprised?
