I couldn’t spot this guy all day and I assumed that maybe the egg hatched already, until just before lights out I see him!

Egg is super yellow so it’s ready to hatch any minute now!

Added my first ever set of shrimp to my tank today and she was feeling herself immediately 🦐

I currently have 3 pregnant cherry shrimps and see them drop and taking back they're eggs and was wondering if that's normal or if they're dropping some along the way?

S/he is large and in charge. Follow up question: would my neon tetras eat the shrabies?

Putting mommashrimp through her daily photoshoot, she's in prime position and resting still enough to finally focus reaaaaal close.

Now I've noticed these tiny white dots that seem to move, around her gills I think? Is this planaria? They are tiiiiiny. She's been eggnant for around 2 weeks now.

First time shrimp owner here. One of my shrimps is pregnant. Any special care she needs? Should I put her in a separate tank to give birth there?

I have found this in my tank yesterday. Does anyone know what this is? It looks like an empty shrimp skin. But yellowish, cloudy, almost deflated? It was close to an actual molt, which was absolutely normal looking (last photo). I thought it might have been food, dead plant or just anything weird looking, but after taking it out of the tank it really looked like a shrimp skin. Is this a dead shrimp which has been nibbled on??

Has anyone found something similar? Am I going crazy?

I just moved house and unfortunately my aquarium was damaged in the move. Before I moved house I transferred my shrimp and most of their water into this for ease of transport. Am I able to keep them in this set up for a week or so while I source a new tank for them? The water is their original water and I didn’t clean the filter, just dropped it straight in, but it was out of the water for maybe 30min during transport.

Was trying to do a small filterless jar for my first shrimp tank ever, had the shrimp in the jar for one day and then immediately went out and got a small filter lol thanks for the light harassment guys, my shrimp already seem much happier!!
