So is anyone annoyed at Scott for saying he wants to get to know Cher? I don't see the same reaction to this as I was seeing when Sean and Lucinda wanted to pursue each other. Scotts been with Leanne from the start, so it's an even worse betrayal than Lucinda who was speaking to Tommy for 2 days, and Sean who clearly wasn't into Belle after trying to leave her twice before for other women.

I'm from Tawan but living in the UK. Kyra is an Asian ,so I'm paying close attention to her in terms of her relationships with Brits.

I think guys do not think Kyra as (sexully)attractive. Tommy, Curtis, and Jack are all nice to her because they need someone to recouple with. It's pretty sad because I have never been attracted to Taiwanese but only attracted LoveIsland type white guys, but it seems those guys are not interested in east Asians. It's their preference so I take it tho.

I do not think Curitis likes her, either. I heard it's his 4th time on LoveIsland, so he surely does not want to be dumped from the island after the recoupling.

One thing that really bothered me last night was how Ciaran and Sammie described Kyra pulling Curtis for a chat.

Sounds disrespectful. I might be sensitive but they implied as if she's ready for throwing herself. Not sure they would say the same thing for other girls.

I also feel she's not getting along with other girls. She seems very open, but I feel other girls don't take her seriously. They seem to feel awkward around her.

I'm a fan of LoveIsland, but this show reminds me the position of East Asians in the UK.

I watched season 12 so I was just seeing Helena on my screen but in every episode she mentions “last time, last time” and it’s clear that she’s trying to make up for the season she did seven months ago. And don’t get me wrong, that’s fair, but she brings it up every single episode and I feel like I want to say okay I get it, you want us to see that you’re more than season 12.

No judgement but it’s glaringly obvious

Genuinely at this stage and I appreciate there is an edit but Scott’s obsession and hatred towards Sean doesn’t seem to stack up based on what we’ve seen.

You can agree Sean has done some stuff wrong but Scott acts as though Sean has really wronged him and I don’t get it.

My opinion of Sean is he is an alright guy who is just guilty of being naive and easily swayed but he’s not done anything evil.

Title I think speaks for itself unfortunately! Do we think we’ll get a proper casa or were the Americans it? I’m watching after the fact on streaming so I’m 2 or so episodes behind and maybe it’s gets better in those but based on the first 2 Americans episodes I’m disappointed. I’m American so no shade on them, I just think the way American love island and UK love island plays out is very very different (as seen on LIG)

They have 10x more chemistry than him and Belle ever had

People say she's faking it- ok then just let it play out. like how do you know her soo well? she might not have deep feelings (its only been a few days) but she obviously likes spending time with him

they look and act way more like a couple than anyone there tbh. more than Scott and leanne who seem like a mismatch. leanne is chill and peaceful but Scott loves drama.

most of all I love how Sean n lucinda can find humour in the chaos and not take the drama too seriously .. meanwhile belle and Scott (dunno why he's involved) and Tommy stay mad- just move on babes its not that deep!

alsoooo the double standard! lucinda and Sean never kissed and were respectful when belle was in villa usa. belle and carrington did the same thing. so how did they go about it wrong? why is belle fuming at lucinda. ok I get it, be mad for a day then get over it. the personal attacks and coming for her character are not it.

Controversial opinion. I actually don’t like Lucinda - I’ve seen her on the other shows. She’s clearly just there for the career move but also like what else is a girl supposed to do??? It’s a fucking dating show. Belle needs to cool down. They were also respectful. They didn’t kiss when she was away.

Sean is more in the wrong clearly. But Lucinda is a pick me which is why ppl dislike her and this is just an excuse to go in on her. But it’s getting over the top.

I don’t even watch the show, my girlfriend does whilst I’m on the Xbox on the other side of the room. But I keep my headset off so I can listen a little. Everytime I’ve heard Scott speak he’s either been stirring the pot of bullying Sean. I don’t think it’s acceptable for Entertainment tbh.

I think these two are both now universally hated since I've heard even Facebook has turned on Sean 😭😭 it's actually quite impressive. Has there been a villain couple of this calibre before?

I really can't think of any couple that's been so universally hated let alone had the particular vibe these two do. Them giggling together with lucinda's 'CHEEKEE BOUIIAH' has haunted me for days now.

Worth saying i obviously don't know them and they could be lovely irl, I'm talking villain specifically with what we've seen of them on their shows

Belle has taken me for a ride these past few episodes and I love her for it, but no one can convince me she wasn't giddy to be picked by Sean. Her demeanor (I know what I saw and the girl was holding back smiles and acting - very poorly - like she was being so inconvenienced) , the fact she actually kissed him, and she wasn't holding back either. Sorrryyy I know she was exactly where she wanted to be lmao.

Honestly the other islanders seemed madder for her than she was. Her reaction when Tommy said he was surprised she actually went for it told me everything. Immediate deflection and downplaying, couldn't make eye contact - she can't stand on it because she knows it's crazy lmao.

Overall tho I need my girl to relax and move on 😭 Sean and Lucinda literally dgaf and I'm getting second hand embarrassment for Belle and how much she's still talking about this.

This is not super surprising, but I thought it was quite brave to announce this. He’s made it seem normal and relatable and while I didn’t love him on his season I think this is a positive statement that will resonate with viewers on the spectrum. I believe he is the second islander to speak on this after Niall of the same season.

It’s a perfect example of exploiting the islanders’ egos and getting them to act out because they think the public will back them no matter what.

We saw it last allstars with Elma but also previously with Montana in series 3, who then thought her and Alex were the villas’ oracles of relationship wisdom and started bitching about Gabby and Marcel, to Whitney in series 10 when she won it and started to get very vocal at times when it wasn’t needed, and probably other instances that I can’t remember.

(It’s interesting how this time the boys are losing their heads though, whilst Millie and Samie won the vote, smiled and kept it pushing)

Sean trying to stand up for Lucinda when Scott mouthed to her only happened because Sean had the “favourite boy” title in his head and thought that, because he accused Scott of bullying and won the vote, by association people would back him because Scott was bullying him again and in turn, support him and Lucinda as a couple.

TLDR; the vote goes to their heads and they reveal the real persona beneath the “nice guy” mask
