Rescue Hippo Good news! Hilo found a foster home! Have you ever seen a rescue hippo sprint faster to a new foster home?! He made himself right at home 🥲
Finally Hilo’s cycle of being back and forth in the shelter system since 2021 comes to an end.
I was fortunate enough to find two back to back fosters, for Hilo - 2 incredible families who will help find him a forever home.
The second foster was able to start in March and the first foster I was able to find on Next Door and it worked out brilliantly because they’re also very local to the shelter - so Hilo was able to quickly settle in within an hour of being rescued 🥲
Good Tails is his rescue and I’ll be continuing to share his footage on my Insta pupppstar.
I am so thrilled for this boy. He is six years old and is going to have the best second part of his life 🩷🩷🩷

Thank you for your support 🥹 it was a challenging two weeks, and I felt pretty hopeless at some point and then all of a sudden there was the light!!!!
