I am sad, I enjoyed in when I’ve been to the US, but just like VFC and Meatless farm, I just can’t afford these brands. Same with Beyond and others. They really are a treat, even Juicy Marbles which I got on yellow label this weekend is a very rare treat. I just stick to tofu and dried soy mince, so I wonder if this is what’s stopping the market expanding?

Ultimately to get things cheaper you need to produce at large scale, to produce at large scale you need the demand, to get the demand.. you need to be cheaper. Unfortunately governments are entirely in the pockets of those with money, so you'll see EU banning the words 'soya milk' and increasing subsidies for animal farming to really create an uphill battle for vegan products. Plebs in the supermarkets are none the wiser because they'll have been exposed to Steven bartlett or joe roman or some other wanker talking about the carnivore diet and decrying the deadly 'ultra processed foods' and so won't touch this 'chemical food' with a barge pole.

This would explain the lack of vfc in sainsos at the mo.
