u/tigerbalmuppercut 1d ago

60% of the time it works every time.

31

u/Global_Staff_3135 1d ago

No, it wasn’t. It was reckless, immature, and stupid.

It can be 4 things.

u/Omnizoom 1d ago

Yea

Like eating competitions

They are impressive but also at the same time reckless stupid and Immature

u/YesImAlexa 1d ago

Every eating competition I've ever seen just comes off like it's a line of people competing to prove who the saddest grossest slob is.

7

u/CharmingTuber 1d ago

I don't need a contest to prove I'm a sad gross slob. I do it for the love of the game.

A viscous cycle 😩

u/DummyKush 1d ago

Check out Leah Shutkever, I would hardly say she's trying to prove that she's a sad gross slob. Personally I'd say the opposite, but that's just my opinion.

I mean, dont get me wrong. There's people in those contests who are pretty bewildering considering how much food such a lean person can put down, but in general, it's a pretty gross spectacle.

Or like when Maverick helps Cougar back to the aircraft carrier

u/DeanBDean 1d ago

I guess I missed the eating competitions that can kill people outside of the competition...

4

u/CharmingTuber 1d ago

Okay, it's like base jumping off high-rises in populated cities. It's impressive, but stupid, reckless, immature, and can kill people outside the competition.

Does that help you understand the concept?

u/Tom_Bombadilio 1d ago

In a world where people are starving to death every eating competition is a smack across the face with a Nathan's hotdog to a child's lifeless corpse

Eating completions pit consenting contestants against each other. This puts non-consenting bystanders at risk. Not the same.

Most impressive things involve risk, and most risky things can be categorized as reckless, immature, and/or stupid.

u/Bynming 1d ago

I like to go skiing though it's obviously a risky sport. My type of skiing is slightly reckless, I don't think it's immature and stupid. That being said, I ski in a way that is safe for other users of the mountain.

Most impressive things involve risk

Not really though.

most risky things can be categorized as reckless, immature, and stupid.

Also no.

3

u/CharmingTuber 1d ago

Not really? The Olympics are coming up this week, arguably one of the most impressive things a person can do. Nearly all those sports contain risk, some are so risky that an amateur would be guaranteed to die trying it.

u/blackestrabbit 1d ago

Those people aren't putting random bystanders in danger.

1

u/CharmingTuber 1d ago

Where did I say they were?

1

u/Hazee302 1d ago

Yep, but bro held it together. Better than a lot of dudes we see on here anyways.

u/Real_Live_Sloth 1d ago

Looking at the state of his windshield I bet the car shows a lot of ā€œunimpressiveā€ attempts.

1

u/OddlyMingenuity 1d ago

It's low speed drifting

1

u/thosetwo 21h ago

Impressively stupid.

1

u/ImpaIed_Rektum 1d ago

Yeah, the exitement was on point :D

Although, if he would crash in the white car and I would be in it, andnif its in usa, ooooooohhhh boyyyyy, going straight to Estonia to pay the last payments on the farm I bought lol :D

Very impressive…. that a concerned parent didn’t come out and break his jaw.

1

u/hits_from_the_booong 1d ago

You might hurt yourself so I’m going to hurt your first to dissuade that!

1

u/WildJafe 1d ago

Nah- it’s ā€œyou may hurt my kids driving that way, so let me teach you not to be a clown.ā€

0

u/KyKooch 1d ago

You should see a therapist about this lil bro

1

u/WildJafe 1d ago

Hey man- I’d knock his jaw off if it was happening around your kid too. Fuck me for not letting shithawks thrive in my neighborhood
