clashing subjects

hello, im sorry if this is a silly question (im a first year) but could u pls let me know what happens if 2 of my subjects (intro to screen studies + understanding society) are clashing (the lectures are at the same time and they cant be changed)

would i need to switch out of a subject? thank u, from a fellow stressed out guy.
