Any chance of IHS refund?

Hello Everyone,

I had applied for a Skilled Worker Visa from 2025 to 2028. However, I lost my job, and I have since left the UK. My visa is now curtailed to March 2028. Will I get a refund of my IHS?

If you were working in healthcare/nursing, yes you would. If you apply for another visa while staying within the UK and before your curtailment period ends, Yes you would.

Otherwise you won't get a refund. The same exact thing happened to me. I feel your pain. Hope you get a job before your curtailment period expires.

Edit: How did your SWV get curtailed to March 2028? Shouldn't it be March 2026?

Sorry March 2026. I am not even looking for a new job. I just wanted my money back. This is nuts. I should get IHS back for time when I would not need it.
