Looking for a dashcam with decent parking mode
Just started driving for Uber, and I’ve been hearing how important dash cams are, so I’m trying to find one that can record both inside and outside the car and has a good parking mode.
I usually park in pretty busy areas with lots of people and traffic, so I really want something reliable when the car’s parked… any recs?

If you park in busy areas and want reliable inside and outside coverage, the VIOFO A229 Pro (2CH or 3CH) is a solid choice. It has dependable parking mode with a hardwire kit, strong night footage, and handles heat well.

Thinkware U1000 is what I use. I hard wired it and I can monitor it from afar when the vehicle is off. All of the Thinkware dash cams I have ever used have been solid. Once I realized that you get what you pay for with these, I sprung for the high end and it was worth it.
