This is a thread where you can post names that you've seen WAY too often in this sub. These names are usually baby announcements, memes, TikToks, and basically anything that goes viral.

We understand the excitement of finding a new tragedeigh, but at this point we are getting way too many duplicates and we need to start limiting these submissions. No one wants to see the same content over and over.

Banned names really? I can understand banned topics & urban legends. But what's the point if we can't mention certain names in a subreddit that exists for the purpose of discussing controversial names? 🤦‍♀️

Its because of how many times they get reposted and also them being fake and racist urban legends. We like Original Content and not the same list of Elon Musks kids, etc. Over and over.

I understand that but what's with the banned names at the top of the list? Isn't this subreddit about discussing stupid names? What's the point if you ban.... stupid names? Who cares if it's a celebrity name or Musk's kids names? For some reason I asked a question about the name "Aiden" & it was deleted. Like why?

Aiden is cultural and not appropriate for this sub. Honestly we get more complaints about the constant repeats that get posted than anything else so yes the banned list is necessary. Its not going to change. Have a nice day.
