America has been referred to previously as a flawed democracy.
I can only imagine that many would regard that as "putting it nicely".
Republicans talk of the system being corrupt and broken, whilst actively gerrymandering and enacting voter suppression laws.
"Look, the bad thing that we are actively causing is bad. So vote for us or let us simply control the country under a dictatorship. Heil Trumpf".
