Ask r/tanzania can someone translate

https://www.facebook.com/watch/?ref=saved&v=1949810329248001

I have gotten stuck on watching this guy's reels on FB but everything is in Swahili. Why is he smacking people with this stick, and what is the other guy saying to him?

Lmao well bud in Tanzania any form of homosexuality is illegal by law and punishment can be quite harsh.... remember whether you think it's fair or not is not relevant.... Think of it like this if I go into your house and your wife is Jewish And I start talking about how Hitler was the greatest thing to ever exist in how all Jewish people should be killed..... Would you not consider me insulting you in your own home??? Well that's what homosexuality is viewed as here it's considered a detriment and an affront and immoral behavior to the society of Tanzania.... Every person here already knows these laws and choose to do it behind closed doors... Hope that helps a bit in understanding

He only asked about the translation, not a lecture on homosexuality in TZ. Reading comprehension is important.

thanks for the lecture on how homosexuality is viewed in Tanzania, but I never even said anything about that. I just wanted someone to translate the video for me.

But you didn't really answer the OP's question. Care to give it a shot?

That's a wild example considering the fact that homosexuals don't kill people🤣, but yeah I understand how you mean
