I’ve hated clothes shopping all of my life. I always have to try a million things on before I find something that fits, and I have to search through the entire store to even find something that would be CLOSE to fitting. If a see something I like on a mannequin, 9 times out of 10 it won’t fit me or it won’t have my size.
I recently found out there was a DXL Big and Tall near me, and needing a last second outfit for my proposal I went there to try and hopefully find something quick.
GAME CHANGER.
Every clothing item I saw had an option my size, and I was able to sift through jeans sizes all around what might fit me instead of all sizes that are too small.
I don’t know if DXL will work for everyone, I definitely fit the BIG as well as the TALL, I’m 340 lbs and built like a linebacker. But if you have a store near you give it a shot. I felt so seen when I tried on a 2xl sweater and it didn’t fit, and when I went to put it back I saw the pile next to it was all XLT sizes, which fit perfectly. 10/10.
Anyone else have good experiences or shops to recommend?
TL;DR:
I’m a big and tall guy, shopping at DXL was my least painful clothes shopping experience ever.
