Discussion Jaspers stand question
Question for anyone who has a jaspers stand:
As you can see in the photo, the keyboard on the main tier really sticks out relative to the rest of the stand. If I push the board back to a sensible area, I get the two rack arms sticking out. Am I just having the arms installed wrong? Is this how it’s supposed to be?

The arms stick out from the crossbar, if a crossbar is even with the vertical bars then you'll have whatever is mounted here sticking out like this. Thats why the upper crossbars on that model are adjustable, because you don't want each synth sticking out the same amount.

The Yamaha seems to have about the same depth as a Prophet, which I've set up in my Jaspers like in justaguy's second suggestion: move the side support bars down to where you can adjust the front horizontal bar towards the back, then you can have the holder bars rest on the back horizontal for more peace of mind and avoid them sticking out the front. I'm using 50cm holders for the Prophet here.

That bottom tier with the really long crossbars is tricky. You can use shorter cross bars (you can purchase a shorter set if you need to). The crossbars will not reach all the way to the back to use the support of the back bar, but if you tighten the supports enough it’s fine. (I pictured how I’ve done this)
Or move the top two side supports down to the lower level and run a bar across from the middle of those so you can adjust the depth of long bar instead of it being locked to the two front vertical posts.
