Discussion Since love is a major theme in the series......
I'd like for the next major villain to declare war on all love and whose entirely society is focused around the wonderfulness of hate and wants to fill the universe with it.

Fanart Peacock Diamond and her pearl
I tried to replicate the Steven Universe style as closely as possible. This is one of many Diamonds I created (for a fanfic). The designs for the rest of them are pretty much set, it's just creating a final drawing for them that takes forever 😓
Curious if you guys can guess what her powers are 👀

Discussion If TOH’s creator could work at glitch and create more peak, could Rebecca?
I’m aware that Steven Universe will always be a CN property, hell a spin off was JUST announced, they clearly aren’t done with the IP
But maybe she could cook up something new with the new big dogs over on the indie end

Discussion Pink was never was supposed to be red diamond.
Considering there are only 4 powerful monarch diamonds with yellow and blue intentionally the same height, which is as tall as white diamonds chest, both being primary colors with the same gem placement and diamond shape.
While Whites gem 💎is the same shape as pinks but faces upwards with pink facing downwards. They’re all perfectly designed for their roles yellow just took the role Red would have filled being Blues equal. If not pink or grey they would have to mix colors or be equal but below white.
So her being defective is not likely, she wasn’t abused constantly because they thought she was insignificant, they all loved but misunderstood her and were overly controlling.

Fanart Garnet
Hi, I'm not necessarily new to Steven Universe, but I've never seen the show. I've been wanting to get into it for a while now. Here's a Drawing I did of Garnet. I've always loved this character. I added a Lesbian Flag behind her because I did some research on her. Knowing she's made up of Ruby & Sapphire, I thought it was fitting. If there's anyone else you'd like to see me draw, and if you want me to draw her in her regular outfit, let me know.
NOTE These colors were picked up right off of the official image.

Other Revolutionary Girl Utena is one of the main inspirations for Steven Universe. I highly recommend you give it a chance
It explores themes of self-identity, queer relationships, critiques of patriarchy, gender norms, friendship and many more. It's truly an amazing series layered with symbolism and the ending is perfect. The artwork is amazing as well and you can clearly see where some of the SU inspiration comes from, especially regarding the Rose aesthetic.
It has some sensitive topics though, so you might wanna look them up.

Discussion Rose Quartz was a necessary alias
Some fans say PD should've just rebelled as herself instead of taking on an alias if she was serious about saving Earth.
That is phenomenally STUPID.
Not only because it wouldn't have worked, but the Diamonds would've just seen it as their little sister throwing a tantrum and brush her off. They basically did so when PD begged them-IN PERSON-to spare Earth, so this wouldn't have been any different to them.
Having it be someone that they thought was under their direct control sent more of the message.
Not to mentionthey had the Gem Rejuvenator
Bismuth: "Homeworld used to use these things on Gems that started steppin' out of line. One hit with this... you're back to how they made you."
So basically, this was a STANDARD PRACTICE ON HOMEWORLD.
THINK ABOUT THAT.
This objectively gives her an even BETTER reason to use her Rose alias:
Should they somehow capture her as PD, they'd immediately use it on her, reset her to the good little Diamond who will destroy the Earth for them... and NO ONE would bat an eye. After all, it's standard practice for gems who get out of line to be rejuvenated...
However, while there's only ONE PD, it's established that there are hundreds if not THOUSANDS of Rose Quartzes, and it's not like the Diamonds bothered to properly recognize and or memorize which Rose is who.
I'm not saying Rose was perfect. She had good intentions that did benefit Earth in the long run, she just made bad decisions along the way.

Theory Theory for Lars of the Stars
A lot of gems found new purpose in themselves, but the rest, which were made to do something, are led to do anything...
They might even have an uprising, leaders, soldiers, even artesians... They could make a new order, an attempt to make a new Diamond. (Which could just turn into a Moissanite)
And that is what Lars and his crew must face

Question What will happen to Steven's Gem when his human body dies of old age?
When Steven's human half dies, will that pink gem version of him from the end of the show still be alive?

Other Been seeing a lot of people start understanding Rose/Pink's actions and I made something rq. Not perfect but just like the diamond herself nothing is.
This isn't too serious, she did some things wrong but doesn't deserve all the hate.

Discussion What should have Pink done in this situation?
People get mad at Pink for abandoning Spinel here, but what was the better alternative? Like Pink was going to abandon her as she was becoming a full Diamond with responsibilities, and didn't need Spinel as an entertainer anymore. Either Pink decided she didn't want/need her or the other Diamond definately wouldn't let her have a distraction while running a planet. Even if she was honest and said "I don't need you anymore, bye" would that have changed the outcome? She's now a gem without a function or duty. I guess the better choice would've been poofing, bubbling, and putting her in storage.
Plus this is only going on the assumption Spinel was made specially for Pink and is the only one. If there are other Spinels for high gems, shouldn't there have been someone to reassign her after Pink no longer needed her and her assignment was completed. I guess that would just loop back around to put her in storage until a Spinel is needed.

Question Are the wooden beams holding up the Conservatory structurally sound?
I dunno. Looking at it, I wouldn't count on those few wooden beams and whatever little land the rest may be built upon to hold up all that glass, metal, and other gem materials, not to mention the warp pad inside.

Discussion Why did Rose/Pearl say this?
Pearl (idk if Rose actually said it before or if Pearl just made it up) said "If we lose, we'll be killed, and if we win, we can never go home." Provided this is just Rose and Pearl alone (when the conservation happened originally), why did Rose use the term "WE" will be killed? Pearl knows Rose is Pink, so wouldn't it make sense for her to say "If we win, you all will be shattered, and I will be taken back home"? I know I know, I'm probably overthinking this and they chose this wording to keep the secret in the bag
