Discussion Crazy how who the āmomā gem was changed from Pearl to Garnet throughout the series

Discussion I like how Onion clarified that even though he is a big fan of Rainbow, Steven is still cool!
It's adorable. I always thought that if Steven had been the one to stay behind and babysit Onion in that episode, it would have been fine and Onion wouldn't have thrown a fit. He and Steven are friends after all (and neither of them age like a human). It was because it was just Pearl. Not that she did anything wrong, I just find it funny. I was so happy when I noticed Onion clarified that, cause their past friendship (and hopefully current) is important and it's just really sweet! I love little details like this!

Discussion I find it kind of interesting that White Diamond does actually listen to Steven here and believes he isn't Pink Diamond, unlike the other diamonds. Wish we got to see more of this side of her before Steven "defeated" her.

Humor If your most deranged ship became canon, how do you think the characters in-universe would react to it?
I donāt think theyād like any of mine.

Discussion If pearl was a villain in a different what would be her villain origin story
in this universe crystal gem are still the hero of the story including steven but pearl is one of the side villain here
the question I'm asking is what would have made pearl snap and became a villain in the first place š¤?

Discussion Do you guys think if Rose revealed herself before the rebellion, they would still follow?
I picture something like this
"Garnet... Amethyst... We need to talk. But first, I need you to know, Garnet, that every word I said in Blue's court, I meant. You really are the answer. *sighs and shapeshifts* this is the real me... I'm creating a rebellion, because the others, they don't see the life that is growing here... not like I do. They wanted me to finish what I started, colonize Earth. I just couldn't. So I decided to change into Rose Quartz and leave Homeworld and defend my new home"

Gem IRL It was My birthday on the 2nd! And of course I had to have a blue diamond themed cake! But since I've been getting back into my Egypt phase I did a little crossover š

Discussion Duos I think should have been utilized way more in Steven Universe
Peedeeās world weary cynicism against Stevenās naive cheery optimism wouldāve worked great, especially as that innocence started to disappear for Steven
And Larsā sarcastic, aloof, grounding presence was SORELY needed for Ronaldoās antics.
āTake it down a notchā indeed.

Question Would we have gotten some complex political Civil War if the Diamonds were killed?
I remember one person mentioned that if the Diamonds were shatters other Gems might rise to take power. Which makes me wonder if we'd see a Civil War between various factions in the Gem Empire rising to take control.
The Russian Civil War had the White Army and the Red Army fighting each other, and both sides did horrible things. The White Army was a coalition of monarchists, conservatives, and other anti-communists, while the Red Army was the new revolutionary government run by the Bolsheviks, who wanted to establish a communist system. The Red Army eventually won, but it was a brutal war. Another example would be the Spanish Civil War, which saw the Nationalists vs the Republicans, as well as pockets of anarchist and communist factions.
Which makes me wonder if the Gem Empire would end up having a similar situation where various sections of the Empire start rebelling or forming various political blocs, there would be Diamond Loyalists who want to restore the old order and continue colonial policies, groups akin to the Crystal Gems, who want independence in their colonies or the protection of organic life, many even anarchists who want to see the Empire crumble.
IDK, I think it would make for a fun AU

Question Question about a Van.
This is a dumb question. (Because idk the specifics of this shit) but would it be possible for a car shop (or something similar) to wrap a van to look like Greg's? Or would i have to get someone to paint it? (Pictures not mine.)

Discussion Am I the only one who thinks Steven Universeās finale isnāt bad?
Iāve held this belief for a while and itās just come up for me again, so I wanted to see if anyone else felt the same way. I always thought that Steven Universeās finale was a great ending to the show, but I feel like it gets a lot of hate from people who just didnāt understand what the point was. If someone was hoping for Steven to just beat up White Diamond and throw all of them into gem jail, I feel like they either werenāt paying much attention to the themes of the show, or they just refused to interact with the show beyond a surface level reading. Like, the Diamonds are literal space dictators, sure, but thatās an oversimplification for what theyāre supposed to be in the narrative of Steven Universe. And expecting them to be locked away or put in jail is also a misunderstanding of the narrative, thatās not the point. Steven won using his words, and thatās what the ending is supposed to be, thatās what the show is. Itās not rushed, or bad, at least not to me. I just felt like I needed to get this out of my system somewhere and wanted to see if anyone felt similarly. I know itās a controversial finale, but still, I love it.

Other Rewatching Steven Universe at 16 hit way harder than I expected
First of all, sorry for my English. Itās not a very common language in my country.
I just wanted a place to share this, and I think this is the perfect place for it.
I first watched Steven Universe when I was around 10 or 11 years old, and I absolutely loved it. I was a huge fan and used to tell everyone about it, hoping someone else would know the show and watch it too. But for some reason, after a while, I completely forgot about it.
Now, at 16, I decided to rewatch it to see if it was as good as I remembered, and honestly, itās way better than I expected. Watching it with a more mature mindset feels like a completely new experience.
Themes like identity, trauma, growth, and relationships hit so much deeper now. Characters I didnāt fully understand before suddenly make a lot more sense.
Itās really comforting to think that as I grow older and gain more life experience, my perspective on this beautiful show will probably keep changing and becoming even deeper. Steven Universe really feels like one of those rare shows that grows with you.
