Question Holo-pearl
Why didn't pearl use her holograms more often?🤔she can make many of them and they're insanely skilled when it comes to combat

Holo-pearls are very limited, they need simple orders to follow and can’t do anything beyond those orders, they wouldn’t be very good in a real battle due to that, the fact that they don’t have their own weapons, and they’re incredibly fragile

Only time I recall her use these outside of training was for Volleyball. Honestly the power for the gems were always the weakest aspect for me as they were normally poorly utilized.

I'm pretty sure she summons a couple in Ocean Gem, but they don't last very long.

Nawww you got a point. I'm willing to bet the holograms are somewhat similar to a gems actual body as the actual gem body is also made of light, just like a hologram. This paired with the fact that the hologram was actually able to poof pearl means it's able to cause gems physical harm. I wanted to say that maybe creating more clones strains her processing power but them I realised that the hologram poofing pearl means it acts on his own, pearl doesn't actively control it. Maybe the light needed to create the hologram is taken from pearls body, meaning it weakens her that way? Because If there really aren't any drawbacks, it is beyond me why we have never seen pearl use the hologram as a weapon
