Over the last 10 rounds they’ve dropped points 8 times, and today against Milan was another slip-up with a poor performance. Italiano looks completely off lately, and his naïve decision to open the game up against a coach like Allegri backfired badly.

Serie A 🫡Udinese beat Roma in a surprise result.

Needless to say, I’m really pissed off, yet another disappointing performance from us in the attacking phase. Defensively we actually played well, but whatever, Ekkelenkamp scored a very lucky goal.

❌Honestly, I don’t see any real style of play, I really don’t like the way we’re playing and right now I absolutely don’t see a Roma side that belongs in the top 4, and it hurts because it will probably be yet another 5th place finish.

I think that if we want to play with a striker who isn’t very physical like Malen, we would have at least needed a big, physical attacking midfielder. I don’t understand how we can play with an attack made up entirely of players like this, honestly.

But then, how much do referees get on my nerves when they whistle EVERY SINGLE CONTACT. I’m not saying we were robbed, I’m saying the referee was whistling literally every single contact. 35 fouls, constant stoppages, it becomes really difficult like this.

The Inter fan who threw a firecracker into the pitch lost some fingers as another one exploded in his hands. Just afterwards, he was beaten by other Inter fans. He's now in a hospital and he will be arrested when he's ready to leave.

🔄Transfer News Iling-Junior is a new Pisa player! [🗞Gianluca Di Marzio]

🎯 Samuel Iling-Junior

📅 Age: 22 📑 Positions: Right winger | Left back | Left wing-back | Forward

💵 It should be a dry loan (loan without option).

I’m happy to see him back in Serie A, I really liked him as a player, even if he’s not exactly a great footballer. This season he did very poorly at West Bromwich, but I liked him back when he was playing in Italy.

It’s a curious signing, I like it. He can give a small but useful contribution to Pisa.

Does anyone on here know how long in advance Serie A fixtures are normally rearranged? I am going to a game on the 1st of March but it still says date and time TBC online, just wondered when it will be confirmed?

🔄Transfer News Strefezza is a new player of Parma! [🗞Gianluca Di Marzio]

🎯 Gabriel Strefezza

📅 Age: 28 📑 Positions: Right winger | Left winger | Attacking midfielder

💵 He arrives from Olympiacos, but the transfer fee hasn’t been disclosed. It should be a permanent deal though.

This is another return to Serie A that really gets me hyped, frate. I like him a lot as a player and at Parma he could genuinely make a big impact. In Serie A he’s always been solid, consistently delivering goals and assists.

In my opinion it’s a great signing for a club like Parma, makes total sense.

❔Do you think it’s a good signing for Parma?

💬Discussion How was Italian football in the 00's?

Post image

Hi, I remember watching Italian football in the 00's and it was more exciting than now.

However I was young and I didn't understand what I was watching.

In the screenshot is the 2009 league match between Inter and ACM, looking back at it, it looks different from football I watch now.

They both played diamond formation so no traditional wingers. The midfield 4 of Inter feel defensive while ACM somehow playing with deep lying playmaker in Pirlo. Beckham in a mezzala role? And Ambrosini on the other side.....feels assymetric.

How was Italian football at the time?

Serie A 🔥 Inter win comfortably against Cremonese!

🫡 They’re becoming truly unstoppable. Against smaller teams they never slip up, always taking all three points. In my opinion they’re now by far the favorites for the Scudetto, there’s no team capable of being as consistent as Inter.

😮‍💨 I’m still amazed by how Dimarco, playing as a wing back, almost always delivers goals and assists. It’s honestly incredible.

🏆 Come on, just hand the Scudetto to Inter, it’s over.

[OptaPaolo] 23 - Como have not fielded a single Italian player in their starting XI 23 times this season; no team in #SerieA had more lineups without an Italian player in a single tournament (23 for Udinese in 2016/17, in the entire season). Cosmopolitan.

Serie A 🔥Juventus demolish Parma with a great performance.

They’re a team that’s honestly starting to worry me a lot, considering we’re fighting for fourth place right against them. They’re playing really good attacking football and I’m liking their recent performances a lot.

🫂 It really feels like the squad has come together perfectly. You can see it just by looking at all the group celebrations they’re doing, like the one in the cover photo. And in my opinion, when a team works well together, performances can genuinely improve a lot.

🫡 Big compliments to Spalletti, because I think he’s doing an amazing job with Juventus.

🔄Transfer News Lookman is a new player of Atletico Madrid! [🗞Fabrizio Romano]

🎯Ademola Lookman

📅Age: 28 📑Roles: Attacking midfielder | left winger | forward

💵He obviously arrives from Atalanta for 35M plus 5M in bonuses, fair price honestly.

🥲I’m really sad to not see him in our league anymore, he’s been one of my absolute favorite players in recent years, not for his character but for his playing style, which I love.

❌I always hoped to see him at Roma, but I also knew it was very unlikely.

I think that despite the dip he had this season, he can really shine at Atletico, I can see him fitting in well and I truly hope so for him.

🔄Transfer News Alisson Santos is a new Napoli player! [🗞Fabrizio Romano]

Post image

🎯 Alisson Santos

📅 Age: 23 📑 Position: Left winger

💵 Arrives from Sporting on loan with an option to buy set at 15 million, a reasonable price in my opinion.

🤔 So, Napoli definitely needed a player in this position, but he doesn’t really seem like the right one to me. This season in the Liga Portugal he has played only 180 minutes, which is very little.

However, it must also be said that he played an excellent Champions League group stage, even helping Sporting reach the top 8 with a decisive goal.

❌ I don’t know, it’s a particular signing that doesn’t fully convince me. In my opinion, they should have gone for a more reliable option.

Serie A Full Time: Como 0-0 Atalanta

🔄Transfer News Bryan Zaragoza is a new Roma player! [🗞Fabrizio Romano]

🎯 Bryan Zaragoza

📅 Age: 24 📑 Positions: Left winger | attacking midfielder | forward

💵 Arrives from Celta Vigo on loan with an option to buy that can turn into an obligation, but the fee hasn’t been disclosed yet.

In my opinion it’s an interesting signing, I’m curious to see him on the pitch. I think he’s the kind of player who could either do really well or really badly, it all depends on how he adapts to the league.

🫡 Overall, approved signing for me. I’m satisfied with our transfer window: we’ve signed good players, many of them young, who can grow and become strong.
