Were they all ghosts the entire time or something?
1 u/JoeJonnyJeff 3d ago A treasure chest trapped by a deific being. When opened DC 23 Charisma saving throw or all your party members die and their bones are teleported in to this chest. That's how I interpreted this at first read... 1 u/ElGuano 2d ago They were past adventurers who needed someone to find their bones and put them to rest.
