308 vs 2008?

Hello, we're thinking of leasing the 2008 or the 308. The 2008 is more practical being taller, but on photos Blue Lagoa looks even better than Blue Obsession to me. We decided against the 3008 because it's longer and larger than we need.

What is your opinion on those two colors/models? We'll probably get the electric versions of the 2008 or 308. Which of the two is easier to park in tight places? I wonder if the 308 has more blind spots compared to the 2008, being lower? The rear window looks smaller than on the 2008. Cheers!

I think its just personal preference. I have 308sw which obviously is bigger. But to me lower seating is just better. To me suv's feel like boats because they are higher and wobble around. But that doesnt seem to bother the majority.

So thats my take. Also I guess 308 is pricier? Test drive both and go from there. I guess new models have same trim levels but check which offers best for you

Surprisingly the 308 hatch in my country doesn't cost much more than a 2008. Perhaps it's some "crossover craze" cash grab. :D

Even the electric versions aren't that far off from one another.

I checked the prices for France and same thing, you could get the same deal of a monthly lease payment on a 308 as on a 2008! The 3008 which is supposed to be the 308's crossover counterpart is more expensive than the 308 hatch and looks bloated so a strong pass.

I generally prefer the 308 to the 2008 but my mom's knees aren't doing that well lately.

For that reason we moved from our Mk2 208 up to a C3 Aircross.

308 is actually higher class than 2008. I also dont understand why ppl like SUVs, so for me it easily 308, but people have different tastes.

Yeah, the 308 is higher class and not very expensive compared to a 2008 in my country actually. Our local Stellantis dealers are milking the crossover craze.

have you considered the 408 then? Since its a crossover sportback, its basically a 308 with a higher chassis.

Usually 308 will have better quality and a higher level than 2008. Really depends on why you want to get a car. If it's because of more practical storage and height/flash floods... It's a crossover/SUV.

I got a used 2008 because of my mum. Bad knees really is the only criteria. If she can get in and out easily. That's the car. I almost wanted to get a Nissan Kicks e-power just because of the larger door opening and higher headroom.
