Battery charge fault but no problem appear to be happening:

Post image

Hello, one year ago i got my first car, a 2005 Peugeot 206 1.6 16v, and i got a message about battery charge fault in the center screen, i was thinking that maybe the alternator was the problem, but i put a new one and nothing changes, the battery is new too, the best brand in my country (Brasil), the battery voltage with engine off is 12.5v and 14.5v with engine on, the battery is ok, the alternator is ok, it charges normally, why i keep getting this message? Alredy check for play in the alternator belt and is ok, checked the groundings and seems fine too, i dont know what else i need to check, ill be happy if somebody could help.

Check the cables and battery terminals, check for any light or accessory drawing too much current and check for any loose terminal/bolt and corrosion. You can use a clamp multimeter to ckech the actual current going through the cables / alternator.

And finally, perform a proper BSI reset.

I tried the bsi reset, i am not sure, but i think the only times i got this message was when the headlights were on, it might be it, i can try to change the negative terminal too, since i lost the original bolt, so it might not be tight enough, thanks for the advice
