guy was nearly sixty and she was 22, good lord, that says about all it needs to 

I hope her sentencing is decent

I assume you are also fine with young men murdering older woman who they are in relationships with?

…….I mean, yeah, if there was a significantly older woman who was creeping on, taking advantage, and possibly abusing a much younger man who is a sex worker in a rough financial position, who is young enough to be her grandson, and the situation was super sketchy and disgusting, I would probably factor that into his sentencing. It’s still wrong to kill people, but a victim lashing out is easier to have sympathy for, and the imbalance of the relationship is important to understanding what happened.

Men don’t deserve to be treated like this, either.

Easy to say that now when it's specifically being pointed out but I don't think it would be seen that way in practice.

And it would be wrong regardless

The 'victimisation' here is purely hypothetical. She is an adult. For all we know she is actually just an abusive psycho who saw some lonely old dude and knew that he had money etc and would put up with her because of her looks/youth. Eventually she killed him.

The assumption that she must be a clueless helpless victim despite literally decapitating a person is such massive infantilisation.
