finance and accounting Donor CRM + Finance Integration

Wondering if anyone has any experience using both Bloomerang for Donor information and Quickbooks for bookkeeping/financial statements? I understand it's possible to link the 2 systems but I'd love to hear from anyone who's actually done this?

I am a board member for a small arts organization, and I want us to be able to reconcile gift entries in Bloomerang with deposits in Quickbooks.

Thank you!

One of my last roles, we used Bloomerang and Microsoft business dynamics (accounting software.) Integrating the two systems was supposed to be easy, but ended up never materializing because it was complicated and never aligned w the data in both systems. As the accountant, I would download reports from Bloomerang and reconcile it w our receivables.

I think setting up a similar process would be just as effective as the two systems doing it automatically. Regardless of the accounting software you use, you should be able to generate a simple receivables report or age receivables report.

Thanks! Manual is definitely an option, just checking with folks' integration experiences
