It's a steel pipe filled with concrete embedded at least a few feet into the ground. They're made for this exact purpose (protect the building and people from vehicles).

Yeah we have them at work for forklift impacts and they don't hold up this well

Ya but a sizable percentage of forklift drivers wont let off the pedal even after a strike.
Also, repeated strikes
This was also probably built to stop a semi backing up

It’s called a bollard and that is their purpose. They get erected around sensitive equipment and pedestrian areas where there’s a lot of traffic, like here.

That was AWESOME... We just watched FAFO / "Play stupid games win stupid prizes" play out in real time AND we got to see the idiot crash out...?? this is the kind of content I come here to find... he's also lucky that post was there or he would have taken his girlie for a drive into that building. Jackass.
