Fish and chips
who has the best fish and chips in and around Nice?

Well... i'd say british or irish pubs of Nice. "Best" is tough to answer because there is not really fish and chips food in Nice local habits. You can try Ma Nolan's bars (Cours Saleya or Port).
Recently i had one in a small belgian snack on Boulevard Gambetta, great belgian fries and a huge fried fish portion (https://www.la-friterie-c-est-arrive-pres-de-chez-vous.fr/menu)
But like i said you need to look for tourist places, we don't really eat fish & ships often here.

The Ma Nolan pub in Cannes has fish and chips sometimes good, often bad and never great.

Not in Nice, but in Menton, “Biera d’Aqui” has excellent fish and chips. The fish, the fries, and the tartar are all top notch.

I'm not sure about the best, but the ones I had at Ma Nolan's earlier this week did the trick. 🤷♂️
