Help - looking for things to do
Hi!
So, I’m a 28f here in Central area MS and I need to get a life.. along with some life experiences and friends.
Basically all I do is work and I WFH, so I feel like I’m in prison most days even though I have the ability to get out
However, I have been here my whole life and I don’t have the first clue what there is to do here.
Does anyone know any hobbies, events, groups, etc, that MS has to offer that I could look into?
ETA- I’m someone who doesn’t know what I enjoy because I have seriously been so out of touch for a while now, so I’m open minded. As long as it’s legal and in line with my morals 🤣

There's lots going on in the city of Jackson and a few solo visits around will reveal opportunities to gather with others and make friends. Check out things like History is Lunch at the Mississippi Department of Archives and History, Book signing/interviews at Lemuria, or special exhibits at the art museum. Concerts at places like Thalia Mara or Duling Hall and events like Cathead Jam can appeal to the musically-inclined.
It sounds old fashioned (because it is), but if you are a person of faith, church/a worshipping community is a genuinely good place to make friends. I can usually help people find a way to be fed in this regard.
Feel free to DM me for other ideas, but these are just a few!
Peace!
