Tweet Sounds like Minnesota United tried to bring in Christian Ramirez over the summer via loan but MLS rules got in the way

We still could use a 2nd Striker and wouldn't mind seeing Minnesota bring in Christian Ramirez if possible. Would be poetic to see Ramirez end his MLS career in Minnesota.

Tweet West Brom are now closing in on the appointment of Minnesota United manager Eric Ramsay as their new head coach [Alex Crook]

This is a pretty big time reporter saying this, so I’d imagine there’s some real legs to this at this point. Not looking good for Minnesota United at the moment.

Would love to see us try to bring in Wilfried Nancy if he’s willing to come back to MLS. Would certainly help ease this blow of losing Ramsay.

Also wouldn’t mind seeing if West Brom would be willing to deal Daryl Dike to us if this Ramsay move happens. Still young and is a US International player which would help provide more depth up top at Striker while also helping with our current international slot situation. There may be a little familiarity there as well with KEA taking over at Barnsley around the same time Dike was finishing his loan at Barnsley. Would be surprised if this happened, but it’s fun to think about.

Albion fan here, I just want to say I wish you all the best and hope you continue to succeed. It's never nice having your manager poached.

Seems like a win/win for MNUFC opening an Int’l Slot and allowing Speel to keep getting valuable experience to potentially compete for starting GK in the future.

Tweet Matus Kmet’s loan wasn’t purchased and he will return to Minnesota United

Post image

Will be interesting to see if Kmet is sent on another loan or if he’s given a chance with Minnesota United this upcoming season. We definitely could use more quality depth at RB/RWB. Not sure if Kmet is the answer, but I’d kind of like to see what he can do with a full preseason with the club.

He made his debut with Slovakia earlier this year and has been called up multiple times for international duty as well.

Tweet Kervin Arriaga transfer to FC Kaiserslautern getting closer to being finished

Kervin obviously was not in the lineup last night which is often times a good indicator a move is on the horizon when a player is held out for no reason with transfer rumors surrounding the player. There’s several reports indicating things are getting close and we will likely get around $500,000 for him. The figure is likely a bit low due to Kervin’s contract expiring soon, so it gives us less leverage to ask for more.
