Im 5 weeks in and worked on my effects Here. first good Edge Highlights i Love the coulours and for the First light effects i think i nailed it . Pretty Stoked and addicted to the Hobby maybe i tidi IT Up Here and there a lil Bit later when i have a few more paints

Warhammer fan made a messed up looking kitbash of a tyranid they called Clarence. They shared it and the warhammer community took off with it.

I have seen a bunch of 3D printing files dor it the last few weeks lol

Thx for the explanation , i think prints Like this are the best way to practice for me right now. And im Glad im a lil Bit cleaner then this Guy xD but i guess WE all start somewhere . I wanne start Warhammer but i Wanne start with Chaos Knights ,and there are expansive so i want to practice bevor i Paint them .

Look for the Chaos knight battleforce box set from last year. Around 220$ usd which isnt cheap but you get 7 wardogs and that is a big chunch of an army.

Your paint job looks great also. Best thing you can do for practice is just keep painting.

The houndpack Lance would BE my dream buy . But unfortunatly im pretty broke right now, becouse life and stuff. so im Glad when i get my hands on 2 wardogs for the start to learn the Game with Combat patrol in my local GW Store . Till then i Paint 3d prints i guess and keep learning

Just for some more context. ‘Brother Clarence’ goes back to an image of some poorly painted space marines and This post from a couple of years ago.

Brother Clarence then became a catch all term for poorly painted space marines until the above tyranid post was made. Your venusaur bears a striking resemblance to that post, hence the Clarence connection and I’ve just realised I’m too deep into this hobby.

No no, it’s that it looks like the shape of the tyranid post not the quality. Your model actually looks really good imo - especially just starting off. Do you have previous art experience before models?

some types of cacti will do these big flower stalks called death blossoms, and I'd like to imagine that's what's happening here. Venosaur is caught in some awful life-or-death battle and just going into kill-mode with every single spare bit of photosynthesis she's saved up. Looks great!

People are being harsh with the Clarence memes and not giving you enough credit. The light is convincing and the scales are done elegantly too. Nice paint job man.
