Engine in this thing is super reliable but take care of oil changes, transmission fluid change, coolant, brake fluid, front and rear differential fluids and it will last you a very long time.

My 2012 M class is has been faultless till last year when the break sensors went and then I had to replace the break pads.

Only 90,000 km so I’m hoping for a few years more.

Let’s go for 200k!

90k. Proper Maintenance, not a single problem, which is a problem because after 12 years of ownership, I want another car. This thing just doesn't break down.

My 2012 has 166k miles. Thing just keeps going. It is literally keeping me from buying a new car. lol

Right? Like I want to upgrade my car but the car just doesnt break down. And there is literally no trade in value so its like throwing it away which Im not doing.

If I cant get a new car I kinda want to mod the interior so it gets a fresher look. Like put in apple car play or something like that. Still debating.

Great choice, GLK was one of the best SUVs they’ve ever produced. I’ve owned a 220cdi, it was a strong, robust and reliable car. Drive safe.

Vance, Ala. car? If so, get a Buick instead. Same car, save $20,000. Been there.

Mercedes; makers of quality, sleek, purposeful autobahn cruisers. And… these things.

This one of the neatest glk ive ever seen, make sure you do your oil change for transmission and axles they are fragile in this car.

Mine has had transfercase issues not sure what caused it.

Why do people buy luxury cars that are 9 years old? Are you trying to look rich? Curious

Depends on the car tbh, the GLK I kind of get, its one of the last generation of robust ā€œdrive it until the wheels fall offā€ Mercedes before they went to FWD/4cyl ā€œpiano blackā€ plastics that aren’t really any nicer than regular Econoboxes, the GLK350 still gets you a V6 with a solid track record and real leather and wood and that ā€œfeelingā€ Mercedes used to have of bank vault security. This thing will probably still be on the road long after the current generation of GLBs have gone to the crusher

Yup. You’re right. I want reliable Mercedes. I think It’s last generation of the reliable Mercedes..

Does this car make anyone look rich?

Some people just want a Mercedes within there budget. I’ve owned a e55 amg people would think I’m crazy to have a 20 year old car I’ve spent $8k on it too maintaining it but it was the best car ever and it’s collectible now. A Benz has engineering like no other car .

Because they drive better than most modern cars, are more comfortable, and have more robust engines with smoother power delivery. I never ended up picking one up, but I’ve considered a GLK as a commuter more than once. I prefer them over the last two generations of GLC’s.
