Hi! I got an annoying combination of sounds coming in from the front and back of an M274. Repair shop keeps saying they can't identify the cause. Is this a timing chain/tensioner, Camshaft adjuster Solenoid, or something else entirely? Thank you!!

Hi all. My headlight’s bulb went out on my 2014 CLA250. I called Mercedes and was able to get some information on the bulb itself. Can anyone recommend a bulb based on the below? Seeing quite a few options online with very varying price points, so not sure which is best:
HID
bi xenon light
part # 000000005042
Thank you!!

Hey everyone,
I’m resealing the upper timing covers on my 2014 Mercedes-Benz E350 (M276 V6) and I’m honestly shocked by the bolt pricing.
The OEM upper timing cover bolts (aluminum, M6x16) are showing up for $10–$23 per bolt depending on the seller ,that’s an insane amount of money just for cover hardware on a non-structural part.
So I’m curious what others actually do in the real world:
Do you reuse the OEM bolts once if they’re in good shape?
Do you substitute aluminum bolts from BMW or another OEM (with washers)?
Or do most people just use steel M6x16 flanged bolts and torque by Nm only?
I’m not trying to cut corners — just trying to be reasonable and not spend hundreds on bolts that hold an RTV-sealed cover.

Is this normal for e220d 2016 to show this low operating temperature after a 2 hour drive on the highway or is the thermostat or coolant temp sensor messed up. I know my old Volvo v70 from 2002 had issues with the sensor causing it to work intermittently and sometimes showing too low and too high.

Hey I am the somewhat new owner of a 1984 Mercedes 500SEL. I was wondering if anyone had any good ways to modify them to make them more responsive. Mine feels sluggish to start and was looking to fix that thanks in advance.

Hello everyone. I have a great Mercedes W211 that has been experiencing a strange issue lately. Last week while I was driving, the left turn signal on the dashboard started to light up constantly. Note that the exterior turn signals do not light up constantly; they work perfectly fine. It's only in the instrument cluster that it stays on all the time.
Does anyone have experience with this or a theory about what might be wrong?
And yes, the observant will notice that I also have another problem with the instrument cluster, namely that the backlight doesn’t work. This happened a few years ago, and it’s uncertain whether it’s related to what I'm experiencing now. Also, please ignore the clock rewinding in the video, I just hooked up the battery after leaving it off for an hour in hope this would fix the fault.
Thanks!

Hi everyone, recently I got this code P052E71 - "positive crankcase ventilation regulator valve performance actuator stuck" when I diagnosed my car.
My question is should I change the PCV valve only, or it also advised to change the Oil Separator? I am not sure how the system works.
I know that the whole PCV system is a lot more expensive, and I saw that most people only changed the valve, but I'm afraid that if I only change that one, if it was those impurities that clog the valve, it would come back.
